Hey Sarah I had endometriosis bad too. I tried everything but nothing worked. At 24 I had to have a hysterectomy 🥺. It was very hard but it ended up really good cause I adopted 2 baby girls🥰. My life has been very full and yes I didn’t carry my girls in my belly but I carried them in my heart and still do to this day and they are 23 and 19. Love my Girls❤️💜🧡

@moonlitskylight5740 2 года назад
@@Nellieroo6203 Well, having several kids is...a choice and all. But, those 5 kids will also have to grow up and need resources from this world. They'll need a source of income, a home to live in, a way to potentially get to and from work depending. Basically it's more people to take up resources that may not be so accessible by the time they are adults. I guess my response to "why not 5?" Is that it seems a tad irresponsible in today's world. I mean, I don't want kids myself so maybe it'll even out for those that want more. But, I don't really understand the need to have more than 2-3.

Packing tip: A day or two before the trip . . . Pack what you want, then unpack and remove anything you decide you don't REALLY need. Then repack, and repeat. However many times you go through the bags, convince yourself that you MUST leave something behind. Not sure if it's possible with Jack taking a lot of you attention, but it's worked for me, 👍 As others have said, unless you're leaving civilization behind, you'll be able to get basic essentials at your destination. Happy Thanksgiving and safe trip. 🦃 🎄 🎉

Hi Sarah! I was diagnosed 6 years ago with endometriosis after being in pain from the time I had my period (11 years old). I was also told to get pregnant as soon as possible after having a large cyst removed from my ovary. I have now cured/healed my endometriosis!!! Please don't let doctors pressure you into pregnancy and/or taking hormone medication I never did any of that and I first managed the endometriosis and now it's gone. My gynecologist at the time gave me a lot of support and was amazed at my results. I now have normal periods and only 1-2 days discomfort The first thing I did (and recommended by my homeopath) was to stop eating all animal products especially meat. I did that for 4 years and am now vegan. Secondly, there are 2 herbs that are extremely healing for the female reproductive organs and help so much with pain, inflammation etc : lady's mantle / Alchemilla tea and yarrow tea ! Can also be taken in combination These herbs are also in pre&post partum teas But with endometriosis you can drink about 3 cups per day, especially when you have your period I have recommend this to so many women and it's helped them instantly The change in diet is of course more difficult but the main goal is to remove animal hormone from your diet Endometriosis flares with excess of estrogen Of course this also means sugar and other estrogen heavy foods Please write me know if you have any questions! I really hope you will explore alternative / natural medicines Pressured pregnancy and hormones are not the answer ♥️ Ps. It can still happen that you keep growing cysts, I did over years, but they were much smaller, often disappeared and reappeared but I never had to have another surgery Lots of love to you three!!!

I'm so surprised that no other doctor that you didn't notice before you were pregnant with Jack or while you were pregnant with Jack that's an endometriosis for a long time and I've had several miscarriages and carried a baby girl to 16 weeks but I was always told that I would have to have a C-section rather than a traditional delivery also I've never heard of it referred to in terms of stages also I mentioned this in your last video the other thing that helps is every year if you're not having babies, is to have surgery every 18 to 24 months I know that sounds like it a lot but it does make you feel better afterwards and it does last for a while in my opinion when it starts to hurt really bad again I have surgery again I've literally had the surgery that you just had six times maybe and it's not as bad if you go in more frequently and also if you don't have cysts on your ovaries but a lot of times ovarian cyst come along with endometriosis but I also agree with your doctor, I live in Chicago are used to live in Los Angeles two major cities with major hospitals and getting pregnant was always my biggest concern and caring a baby to term so if you 100% know that you wanna have more kids don't waste any time why don't we just because you want to space support your kids or whatever it is unfortunately you don't have that luxury anymore and I just when recommended luckily you have Jack was wonderful I know that's not a lot of consolation I would never wish anyone else have endometriosis or to go through what I've gone through but I just want you to know that you're not alone, Also and this might be too personal but I'm surprised that you got slashed to get regular periods because I only get one maybe two a year whether I'm on birth control or not🥰🥰 Also in terms of veneers just keep in mind that you have to get them replaced every 5 to 10 years I've had mine for 11 and they probably should've been replaced a year or two ago so hopefully you don't have to get too many of them I have four in the top and four on the bottom so it's like a hefty $16,000 I think to get them redone it was double that to get them done in the first place so just keep that in mind the young age that you're gonna have to get this done every 10 years obviously you have to have them done, I didn't know that going into it I would've done things differently also make sure when they ask you like if you like the shade that you actually like it I was doped up on laughing gas when they asked me because before they actually install them they can get you a different color if you don't like them or I'm not sure exactly how it works but make sure you're alert/make sure Sarah looks at them because yeah not knowing that I needed to get them done every 10 years plus getting the wrong shade after spending that much money especially the shade part just kind of breaks my heart, Also the ridiculous amount of money which thank you dad, who unfortunately passed away on Thanksgiving in 2017 and I miss him terribly e wry single day I'm just going off on tangents, LOL🦷🦷 as well as my mom who passed away on 2009 when I was in my early/mid 20s, I Love you mom and dad and I hope you're happy in heaven together abd just having the best time, bc No one deserves it more than you two, I can't wait to see you guys again in Heaven, all I want is a big family a hug with my parents😥😥💔💔 Please now if you ever want to reach out about endometriosis or veneers or anything I'm here I know I'm a complete stranger but I know what both of you are going through and I also know what the veneer process is like and obviously what the endometriosis process is like and let me tell you while the veneers are much much more expensive the endometriosis is much more painful and scary so keep both of your heads up and enjoy the two months with your family in my entire family on both sides I literally only have two brothers for nieces and nephews and one aunt and three cousins and that's it in total like I know I have no more family, so be grateful for all the blessings that God has given you and I am so so happy that you will have all of those things I don't want you to think that I'm single whoa is me I don't have any of that but I just think it's helpful to talk to different people that have endometriosis and their experiences with it and I think probably everyone is a bit different, I mean that's a pretty obvious statement

Your little family is super cute and love watching you guys, but I do have to say in my opinion from what I’ve seen You guys kinda just allow Jack to get away with everything!!! He has NO discipline at all! He’s definitely old enough to start disciplining!!! He understands a hole heck of a lot which means he understands when he’s doing something he shouldn’t be doing. You can even see him looking back at you as if he knows he shouldn’t be doing it but he’s going to anyway and let’s see mom and dads reaction to see if I get away with doing it!!!! He’s definitely old enough to have time outs and be told NO!!!! and be expected to listen or have consequences if he doesn’t!!!! Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying spank him or anything like that but he’s getting to the stage of tantrums and not getting his own way throwing fits. If you allow that to continue your going to have your hands full with a little boy who is very rebellious and when he gets a little older that stuff is NOT CUTE!!!! I’m not trying to tell you how to parent, you both are wonderful parents and wonderful people I just thought I would give u a little advice from experience. Good luck and god bless!!!!

Skipping ahead 9 years after we gave up because my tubes were clubbed, hormones out of whack, you name it I was a mess from endo and had 6 abdominal surgeries. At age 35 (husband 45) I got a really bad flu that was going around in 1999 and was living on Nyquil for about 4 weeks,,,, Surprise, Jan 2000 I was pregnant. Shock isn't even a big enough word. For those suffering with endometriosis ai have something for you to speak to your doctor about. I am 47. My endo was diagnosed at 18 and I have been at a stage 3 and down to a stage 2 after pregnancy. I only had one child and he is now 17. I never had a period while on birth control. I would start a new pack of birth control pills every 3 weeks and just not take the week of placebo pills. This prevented me from having a period every 28 days and in turn it slowed and or stopped the growth of the endometriosis. Just wanted to share as I very rarely hear anyone talk about this option for treatment. They just talk about birth control.

Just noticed where Jack's carseat is in your car. My sister is this crazy wonderful research expert on carseat safety and says that the middle back is the safest place for babies. She explains it to me, but I can't remember the details of why. You'd have to research it if you want the details 😁 I just take my sister's word for it. I'm sure you both get a lot of "helpful", unwanted advice. I hope this is helpful and not annoying. God bless!

Oh, Sarah and Derek. I lived this life. AKA a nightmare (sorry, just being honest with you. I hope my story makes sense and it helps just an itty bitty little bit. .My advice, lovingly (and painfully, but gone) from one young mom to another.. Yes, to babies, close together. The quality of life in between pregnancies is not a happy or the most healthy feeling time. I am not trying to be mean or scare you, just realistic, and mentally prepared. Having three kids already, i did have one more baby. It was my age that was stopping the insurance company from approving my surgery. (I was 35-36 when the process turned extreme) i suffered through monthly pain and many problems for close to four years before the insurance company would approve the hysterectomy. I had 4, kids i knew i reached the family size we had decided on at 4 children. This IS the only other cure for endometriosis, other than pregnancy, and it is, of course permanent, is a hysterectomy, in my case, i had the complete "H" including ovaries, cutting off any supply of hormones. Life can get complicated regulating your hormone levels, suggestion...line up a *good doctor* for this part! All in all I FEEL your pain, it's not easy to live with. and because like you, I was young, they don't want to end your chances of having children, even though i had four, they "worried" I may want more. No man ever lived through THAT horrendous pain, they DO NOT GET IT!!! Especially towards the very end, before they eventually allowed the surgery. It's kinda hard to summize this all in a nutshell. Hard to describe to a T without really graphic descriptions and keeping it semi normal for those who may not quite understand it all. Sarah, Jack and Derek, God Bless you all!.

Follow the advice of medical professionals and please don't try remedies suggested by anyone other than your medical team. Endo is difficult to live with, but it can be managed. While some docs recommend pregnancy to control/eradicate endometriosis, there are other ways. And a hysterectomy is a last resort. Also, getting pregnant just to have 9-10 months of relief isn't an easy road either. Do what's right for you and your family, what you can afford, what you can handle. Happy Thanksgiving & safe travels!

Packing: leave your cool/cold weather clothes in Utah so you don't have to take them w you next time. Ask your family to bring your coats &/or sweaters w them when they pick you up from the airport, freeing up space in suitcases and freeing your hands to keep Jack busy. Remember, too, you're going to be able to get anything you need in Utah very easily, so don't think you have to pack a lot of extras. Your meds, your favorite toiletries, Jack's favorite blanket &/or toy (take two or three), enough clothes for three days, & then just do frequent loads of laundry. As well, your families can loan you what you need until you can get to a store. Just think of what you would do if your luggage got lost & pack essentials accordingly. You got this! P.S. any quiet toys/activities/snacks you can bring for Jack will make your lives much easier on the flight. Best of luck!

I never pack clothing if I'm going to stay with a family member. I spend anywhere from 2 to 6 months out of the year in Northern California. But my summers are for Orange County. Since it's ALWAYS cold on the coast, I leave all my "winter" clothes up there. I stay with my uncle and his partner when down south. I have a small chest I leave my summer clothes in. For anything else, there is Walmart, Goodwill, salvation army thrift stores and Dollar Tree. The only thing I cart back and forth are the mountain of art supplies I need to make my living, and my healing crystals. Good luck with the trip, don't stress, and have a wonderful holiday. Sending you all reiki love and energy.

I'm not sure why I like to watch your videos. Maybe just the fun you have with each other and Jack. I have 3 children 23 and twins that are 22. My daughter was 17 months when I brought twins home. It was crazy at first but I loved having them close. Good luck extending your family I just wanted to mention that I got nervous seeing Jack out on the balcony by himself. He is such a climber and curious little guy. I worry he might try to go under the railings or through the slats. Sorry guys...not wanting to scare you. I was an ECE for 32 years and I know how fast something can happen. Best wishes for a full recovery Sarah. Have a fun trip and Happy Hollidays. 🦃🌲

Wishing you a speedy recovery Sarah! I recently found out I have a cyst on my left ovary as well and if it hasn't gotten smaller at my next appointment in 5 weeks then they're going to take it out as well. It's sort of a blessing in disguise I guess because I believe I have endometriosis too so they can have a look at that as well.

Dear Sarah, if nature want you to get pregnant it will happen... My youngest daughter is almost 29 and with 21 she got the same diagnose... Additional she had the first stage of cervicial cancer... They cut away the third part and told her she couldn't get pregnant... Now she is pregnant for the third time and her sweet and healthy girls are almost 5 and three years old 😍 Of course it would be sad if a woman can't get pregnant but - You have a very special sweet and beautiful little family and you live in heaven ! Your husband is a very funny and happy person and he loves you to the moon and back and lil Jack is such a super sweet and beautiful buddy. So for you 3 suns are shining every day. One over your head and two around you and in your heart ! Stay all healthy and safe and love and hugs from Germany Daniela 😘💝😘

I ziploc bag everything. I use gallon size for underwear, socks, baby clothes like sleepwear, shirts, etc. Then i bought several big travel ziploc ones from walmart that all the pants, jeans, large shirts etc Can go in and then you use your vacuum to suck the air out of it. I also ziploc everything in my back.pack. electronic cords, shacks, extra underwear etc. So dtb you go through security everything is bagged. I travel from the US to Kenya often and this is the best way to keepi organized

Hi Sara, I would recommend 2 tips from my own life (unorganized, + married to a person with ADHD...so I do it all): make up either in your head or on a note on the fridge a basic packing list for each one of you for a summery weekend at a place with a washing machine or if there is no machine. make a list for things to add for a week long trip, and for a winter trip. then, combine them when needed. also - we have a package of diapers at my parents waiting for us every time, pyjamas for each one, and extra clothes, so we don't really need to worry... about your endometriosis - from my own experience with other issues, this can be a gift for a better way of life, I truly recommend checking the natural way of life, both physically and mentally. the most important - checking out changing the way we eat and what we eat, but no diet in the world will survive if you think of it as a diet and as some restrictions, that's why, also working on your mental health, stress and anything else, as minor as it may be, will make everything much better, something like NLP, Yoga, Meditation... our bodies and souls depend on each other. I haven't taken any medication for years, except for some minor pain killers after giving birth and having some complications, I haven't had the flu, and the health problems I had before, from age 15, have gone. they come back to remind me, whenever I go back to the foods that my body doesn't need and want plus the addition of stress from work or my personal life. have a great trip.

Hello Beeston Fam, I too have Endometriosis and have been through 6 major pelvic surgeries starting from my early twenties up until I hit forty when I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy that required emergency surgery. I have required heavy painkillers throughout even though I too have a very high pain tolerance. Unfortunately I was unable to have children due to my severe endometriosis. I love you guys, such a beautiful loving family and beautiful Jack of course. You guys have and are all I ever wished and hoped for but unfortunately never had. Definitely more babies, 'pop' them out. You are so very blessed to have your beautiful son Jack, (keep those babies coming!) and to not have much more pain than you have given the severity of your Endo. Prayers and Blessings from Australia. 💖🙏👶🦎🌴🇦🇺
