I agree. Totally lost the spirit and typical charm of the cottage, especially the gorgeous porch and the stone-paved conservatory. I understand why they wanted and needed the changes, but all I see now is the cottage's shell. Might as well have bought a brand new house...

@@marich91 The bathroom redo is beautiful. Think I'd be afraid of brushing the flint with my arm. The layout may now work, but decor is not quite right. The new external entry isn't exactly convincing me that it fits. They should have tried to reuse the old windows. They lost a lot of charm. The bedroom has the wallpaper on the wrong wall. The tile in the entry is too dark and the gold chair stands out like a sore thumb. The kitchen itself looks a bit crammed. The dining bench should have a back. Too much focus in all the wrong places, the effect is jarring.

@@b_uppy I agree entirely! My problem with the redo of the bathroom is that it's been built in this dreadful brick extension that ruins the whole building from outside as well... So, so sad!
