Another great interview! I love how she described the changes she made from Tokyo to become her own person again and regain her love for wrestling. Echo's what Amit talked about earlier.
I'm really proud of Amit and Sarah but not just for their accomplishments but how well they represent Americans with kindness to their fellow athletes, appreciation for just being there and just such positive vibes.
O M G. Got to be one of the best post event interviews! Thank you Sarah for your candor and your spirit. And congrats on having some payoff after all that fun / hard work! You go!!
Let's face it, America has the best female wrestlers in the world! So glad this has sport has taken off for women! The new woman, feminine but strong af!
I loved how Jordan Burroughs who was commentating her match and when she wrapped up the leg lace, Jordan said "this match is over" Long sentence lolol! GREAT USA team, both men and women!!! EXCITING!!! Her 1st match
Why did her team or those people who fed her the wrong info assume she didnt have to wrestle? They didnt confirm anything since the IOC or heads didnt ever confirm an auto win for finals themselves. Thats a mistake that can cost you. The TOP wrestling bigshots never confirmed that false information. Glad she won...but man, get some people in your corner that dont just assume things.
I like her but this medal was robbery, why did they disqualify Vinesh first after she was allowed to fight against Yui Susaki? Susaki should have been in the final and Hildebrandt would have never won against her
