Absolutely incredible. Nobody standee a chance. She PFP our best wrestler. She will be the face of women’s wrestling for the next decade+. I salute you Amit!
Girl- I would be proud of you medal or not. You gave it your all, your family gave it their all, and your energy is palpable from across the world. Am Yisrael chai!
The little giggles after she says "I'm an Olympic champion" are so cute. You can tell she's bursting with emotion but she's keeping her composure very well
Man this is my favorite athlete I've discovered form these olympics, and I don't even fw wrestling. But after seeing her matches, reading her story, and hearing her speak, its hard not to love her.
When she talked about the crowd and wrestling in empty arenas that really resounded with me... I wonder if they could combine the wrestling mats to feature both men's wrestling and on another or others they have the women's matches so both are happening at the same time just like in the Olympics.
her dominance is crazy. that's the distinction for me. if you watch her 2022 and 2023 World Championship runs, it's snap down --> go behind --> leg lace/gut wrench. she's beating the most elite wrestlers with the most basic moves! unlike John Smith revolutionizing wrestling with his low single, or Jordan Burroughs' unstoppable blast double, Amit Elor isn't doing anything flashy or spectacular; she's just dominating.
🎉🎉way to go Amit! What an amazing performance, I wish you a lifetime of success (but what can top this!?). Will have my boys watching all of your matches. Just simply an amazing performance, you put it all together on the biggest stage of your life. Well done young lady, so proud of you.
Congratulations! Well earned & deserved. Your sustained humility, faith, perseverance, positivity & willingness to grow throughout it all are why you're the best in the world & will only continue to get better. You'll do similarly for others as Sara did for you. You represent your family, team, country and sport well, Amit!
Love her, a true hero. Amit is clearly in a class of her own rn, AMAZING!! Kind of wish y'all didn't do her interview in a dark alley or whatever but u can't win 'em all lol
confirming the obvious-- she's an eastern style wrestler, loves, and is a master of, ties; very patient, strong, and consistent, not compelled to do anything huge. Grinds her opponent down while being just aggressive enough until opponent makes a poor attempt then capitalizes on it. If anyone were to beat her, it would have to be 'american style' ie: from space with low attacks, power and speed. Overall amazing to watch and a real prodigy. Shes awesome.
"ohh it just started glowing, the Eifel Tower". What a beautiful moment, showing while being mature for her age, shes not far from being a child. Very impressive lady. Will watch her going forward. Congrats on your gold!
I train at the gym I have seen you train before and my dad got a signed shirt from you and I do jiu jitsu I’m a 12 year old girl hopefully following in your footsteps my dad has talked to you and once helped your deadlift at the gym i really hope I can meet you and that forma gym gives you a celebration
it's Gablesque. Gable won 1972 allowing zero points. Elor wins this year allowing only 2 points in four matches. Both lost a sibling to tragedies. Both are phenoms.
Her father died when she was only 18. She is an incredible story of courage and success. I hope that the Palestinian activists don’t prevent her from getting a good sponsorship.
I have never had any interest in wrestling until watching her performance. Absolutely breathtaking. I'm a male btw, plenty of wrestlers to look up to. But she is my favorite.
