In the early 90s my mother got my sister and me into Sarah Mclachlan. My sister and I saw her five times with this tour being the last time we saw her. It's unfortunate that when you are young you don't realize that things will not always be as they are. The energy of those early shows, our youth, Sarah's youth, our mother. I don't think we knew how special it was then. This summer my sister and I are seeing her for the Fumbling anniversary tour. It will be our first time seeing her in 26 years. Maybe we can bring back some of the magic of those early years.
This album is so good it's hard to even describe it to someone who isn't related with Sarah's music. A capture of one of the best moments in music history.
Her voice is a drug! She'll leave your brain dripping dopamine like a leaky faucet! Never worry there's more where that came from and it's always this good if not better!
This is one of my favourite albums and concerts of all time, amazing voice, amazing talent, and it's a rare thing to like and appreciate every song on an album, this is one of those rare occasions !
Sarah is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! As if that’s not enough, she is so UNBELIEVABLY TALENTED that it almost defies logic! This song is her Best in my opinion! It’s amazing just how Incredible she truly is! And all of us are Blessed to be able to hear her Talent whenever we want!
No one better live - and what a great band. She had so much going on in 1999 - The Surfacing tour, and the final year of the original Lillith Fair. What a great time for music. And I loved short-haired Sarah :)
Mirrorball is by far her best album, I mean Fumbling and Surfacing are truly great, but this album is the best of both worlds, and damn the songs sound so good and alive!
The entire mirrorball album is great, love Camille Henderson, everything they played sounds awesome. When my mother just passed away, this album was the only music I used to listen all the time..........20 years ago
2:11 - "You're so beautiful...." Thanks, Sarah. This concert recording is good stuff. The uncensored f-bomb here makes me smile. ...though I prefer the MTV music video because of her exaggerated emotional expressions. By far McLachlan's best song.
I remember the band was playing at the Warfield/SanFrancisco in ‘94 and KFOG had Sarah McLachlan in heavy rotation…I come in one morning to work at Guitar Center and my manager tells me they loaned out an acoustic guitar for the show….that made my day!
hello nw, thank you for this recording of Ms. McLachlan, saw her when she was married to her drummer for Fumbling Towards Ecstasy album. Was in Ann Arbor and she started the tour for Lilith Fair to say 'lets not have men as our opening act'. I knew then and now still Madonna was asked by producers then. But her starting date was in Detroit to say it. elle for ordinary girl
Pretty gal! Married a hockey player! I have absolutely no problem with that! In fact, it's off the charts, hook, and whatever adjective or social approval you can stamp on it! Sweet!
Just Brilliant from start to finish, this Lady is amazing live, so much emotion and power in her voice and music. Check out the fantastic " Afterglow " live DVD for more music like this one Folks.....
I love her voice. My other half in Belgium can hear me singing her songs from america. I grew in choir. I was choir at age 8 years olde. I'm movong to Belgium and starting 99s grunge and reuniting with my love.
