I think they only killed her off because she was busy with Buffy at the time so they probably didn't think she would be available to do a sequel

Her screaming "BEHIND YOU" in the back of the cop car and this chase scene are iconic. My favorite parts of the movie!!! She made this movie so legendary. I love SMG

The absolute greatest chase scene in horror history. I wish there was some way to honor it somehow. Horror films don’t get the due credit it deserves. The Oscar’s focus on drama and nothing more. Horror is just as demanding for acting and producing.

Someone did a tour of the shooting location and the storeowner told the same story, how production gave them a brand new pulley 'cause "the old one was so old, it ripped the actress's hands." And they still have the snazzy one that production made for themselves. They also said they need to reinstall the toilet but remembered it was where Helen's sister was killed so they couldn't remove it 'cause it's a piece of cinema history.

Yes, I agree that scene was the most memorable part of the movie aside from the third act reveal. So I'm hoping that for the new requel of IKWYDLS aside from creative kills we get a few drawn-out chase sequences that's what SMG's chase scene so creepy because she's in this small town clothing store in a big open area. Yet the killer could be anywhere in this dimly lit building where an attack could happen at any moment giving it a slow burn feel to it that's what we need in horror today.

I've seen that before, when watching behind the scenes on a reporter's camera from the movie footage camera the actor was running slower and I realized then they have to do that so it looks like a fast running pace after they edit it. It was like wow, that's neat.

@@CarlosHuiskens The cast is to old and not interested in doing a continuation, so a reboot with a new younger cast would be the way to go.

@@Marvel_vs_Capcom84 I think you've got that backwards lol. A reboot isn't something people are interested in. Or at least not the majority of actual fans of the show including Sarah Michelle Gellar herself. There's als no point in a reboot when the original show is still very much relevant and regulary watched by younger generations. Also the cast is too old? You do know there's something we call digital de-aging but that's not really nessecary either way. Most cast members would not have to be de-aged because a continuation wouldn't need to take place right after the series final. It could easily take place years into the future AFTER the events of the comic book continuation or it could tell a completely new story with Buffy as a mentor to a younger generation of Slayer. In short though. The idea of a Buffy reboot is something that's been talked about years before around the same time there was tak about a charmed reboot. It never happened with Buffy for good reason.

@@CarlosHuiskens A Buffy reboot is gonna happen at some point , rather it be in the form of a movie or a TV show , I am a huge fan of the original show since it's original run , I rewatch it every year love it, But I also wouldn't mind having something new telling an entirely different story , it's been almost 20 years since the show ended and almost 27 years since it originally came out , A reboot of some sort is bound to happen at some point in the future, It might not happen today , Tomorrow or next year , But it will happen hopefully within the next 10years.

People need to know about these things, preferably sooner than 26 years after the fact, so that they don't have their ideas about pampered Hollywood actresses in their minds while things like that are actually going on and can respond appropriately, knowing the reality of the horrendous things the actors suffered.
