He wasn’t “careless” about the evidence in his apartment. He never had any intension of escape. He wanted to takes responsibility for his action so as to expose the British barbarism and create publicity for the revolutionary cause.

When the detective was asking about Bhagat singh and Udham asked, "What were you doing when u were 23" so he told tat he was married, expecting 1st born child. Bhagat Singh had given his life to his country at the age of 23 for the freedom of his country. That y Udham told don't talk about Bhagat Singh, u know nothing about it.

Its not a co production. Uk even do not teach this in their school. They even say that because of colonization many countries have prospered.

@@FilmmakerReactions Do you know that after murdering innocent civilians General Dyer did not even allow people to tend to the wounded and the dead. The corpses lay rotting in the hot sun for one whole day. Many wounded who could have been saved, died cos of dehydration. Some who survived were forced to cross a narrow lane/gully crawling on their bellies with heads bent. If they raised their heads they were lashed or beaten with rifle butts. The gully is now called the Kodiyonwali gully or whipping lane.

Movie was 95% real. *Btw what they didn't show is he individually corrected the soldiers who were missing the shots and ordered them to shoot at the densest section of the crowd so that more people can get killed in less time and Bullets.*

@@FilmmakerReactionsThe British public raised 20,000 pounds for the psycho Dyer cos he was dismissed from the army. A British newspaper lauded him as the saviour of the British Empire.

11:14:40 the strategic presence he was taking about was in reference to the partition of India on religious lines into west pakistan, east pakistan, and India. They supported pakistan to balance India. They did a lot of other things too but its a lot to write.

Nah. I think the strategic presence he was talking about was far more sinister than just the Partition. It wasn't until the Indian Naval Revolt post the Second World War that the Brits really decided to leave India for good. The influence ops they run these days against India (stuff like funding NGOs, manufactured protests, intellectual cover to India's enemies, narrative building via their media like BBC, etc as well as grooming of urban naxals and printing of atrocity literature in their universities) is just a much tamer version of what they had in mind. What they meant by "maintaining strategic presence" was more than what France accomplished in post-colonial Sahel nations (West Africa) until quite recently.

1:07:02 He asked that question because at the age of 23 Bhagat singh hanged by english... At the age of 23 Bhagat singh wrote so many articles about country n his believes... He left his home only for country... Killed an English officer and bombed in british parliament... He did so many things... Just imagine a man whose age is less than 23 shook the entire british empire even some people knows him in england also... The entire India knows him... Even today Indian blamed gandhi for not saving his life... english got so much scared of him that they hanged him one day before the actual date of hang... Because they were scare that ppl might revolt only to save the Bhagat singh... Even after hanging the english didn't gave his body to his family... That man Bhagat singh before the age of 23 did so many things... Normally ppl at this age only cares about family or job or enjoying with friends.... Even I was in college at 23 ... That's why he asked.... Now hope u understand the context....

Also always differentiate between film industries in India. This is your first Bollywood i.e hindi language movie. The others you have watched are from regional cinema, not as good or prominent as Bollywood. Regional cinema content more often than not tend to be overhyped trash. I would suggest delving into hindi films instead 😊

Yes but theres tons of regional relatively low budget gems too! I would recommend Sairat and Tumbaad from Marathi cinema. Amazing pieces of Art.
