What a wonderful day this was at the river. We watched Sarge, a lone stallion, who once had his own band. He lost his band when he developed an issue with his back hoof and could barely walk. He did recover after some time had past, but he never was able to get his band back. He wonders alone as an aging stallion but is healthy. It is always great to see him living wild and free in the only home he has ever known.
