Hi Shlomit! First some clarification. SAS OnDemand for Academics and SAS Viya for Learners are NOT "trial versions" of the software. They are full access server-based accounts that allow you to learn about and use SAS software as described in the video. We do have free trial versions of the software, but those are for users who are making evaluation and purchase decisions. Any independent learner, whether affiliated with a university or not can get a SAS OnDemand for Academics account to use SAS and learn SAS programming and SAS analytics. However, SAS Viya for Learners access is restricted to academic users with University email addresses. Under those access rules, if you are an academic user, then either type of account would allow you to use different SAS applications for learning analytics. If you are NOT an academic user, then you would only be eligible for a SAS OnDemand for Academics account. You asked about "tNice tutorials" and I am not sure what you mean by this type of tutorial. You can practice the work in all these classes (plus more) on the SAS OnDemand for Academics server: Programming 1, Programming 2, SQL 1, Macro Language 1, Programming 3, Statistics 1, Predictive Modeling using Logistic Regression. These are only some of the courses that you could take and practice with on the SAS OnDemand server. At the present time, a SAS OnDemand for Academics server account comes with 5GB of storage space so you can either use the class data or you can upload your own data to your home folder on the server. It the tNice tutorials use SAS, and if the data is less than 5GB and if you need to use the software that is loaded on the OnDemand server, then yuo should be able to use the SAS OnDemand server for your work. At the present time, students cannot upload their own data to the Viya for Learners server, so if you need to load data for the tNice tutorials, then Viya for Learners would not be a good choice at this time.
