I often find it astonishing how we can know people but not truly know them. @SashaRomeroMusicStudent is Co-Principal Trombone of the Metropolitan Opera in New York and even though I’ve performed on stage next to Sasha, we never really had time to chat. Fast forward a few years and Sasha has the most inspiring story to tell about her ‘egg-cracking’. Having to ‘play a character’ for almost all of her life, which she talks about in this episode, Sasha is open and honest and speaks so eloquently about her experiences of being trans. This is one amazing listen!
