Oh my goodness...I was lucky enough to meet both Sasha and her partner Jen and Kita at the Inaugural Pride Orchestra concert in 2023. Just saw her on the cover of International musician magazine for June 2024, she looks STUNNING and her eloquence of dedication to educating us about the trans community is another layer of beauty. Ms. Jarvis, your magnificent interview style allowed us to see a portrait of a complete artist through the voice of Ms. Romero. This is so inspiring!
Your performances are SO beautiful, so expressive- more than any other player and instrument I've ever listened to-I teared up! Thank you for all that you do, truly❤

Awesome! I’m one of two female trombonists in my highschool band and it’s so nice to see some inspiration from another female trombonist! This is so motivating!!
Absolutely beautiful, Carol and strings. Not only did I totally enjoy your rendition, you actually took me with you through that velvet smooth version of it. Very nice work, everyone.
Your playing of very famous standards on trombone is exquisite …liquid velvety delivery and exceptional interpretation of one of my favourite pieces. You have inspired me to take up trombone after teaching myself to play trumpet for 11 years . You are one of the most expressive trombone players on planet Earth ….and it is always a Joy to listen to your amazing interpretations of these timeless pieces,Carol!
Hah! Only just seen this for the first time too, I'm so behind the curve! Now this is gorgeous. What a lovely tribute to the great Mr. Watrous, I think he would have been very proud.
Beautiful Carol! Really enjoyed that. I know it's a little late for listening to Christmas tunes now. Just having a bit if a youtube binge now the work rush has died down and I only just stumbled across this. Exquisite playing, always lovely to hear you. ❤
@@CarolJarvisMusic 's no problem. I meant it. I do keep enjoying your content, been busy busy this last year or so and just haven't had the time to place comments in these things. Love to see your work on here. How have you been?
I ran across this performance quite by accident, but boy am I glad I did...what an inspiring presentation Carol. You make it look so easy, and I have been playing trombone long enough to know it isnt. Props to you for developing your abilities to this level. This man is totally impressed. I hope one day I am half this good. Thanks for setting the bar so high.
Timbuk3 "I studied nuclear science, I loved my classes,..my dad was a plasma physicist, we used to dream about fusion and things radioactive...." This year it was more profitable learning about an over comer and achiever. Proud of you, kiddo.
