At 18:24, the modes chosen for Rankle should be resolved in the order they appear on the card :) From Gatherer: For each chosen mode, perform that mode in its entirety before continuing on to the next chosen mode in the order printed.
Correct! We checked it afterwards, and I was wrong. Luckily, the other way around would have had almost no impact because I was ridiculously far ahead on board ;)
@@felixdecastro my guess is that (a) 3 toughness is small vs burn and aggro decks compared to Yawgmoth, and (b) Tevesh just provides more card advantage against control decks. The symmetry of Rankle's effect makes it difficulty to abuse, and may become a liability vs certain decks.
Good you are back at it. I am trying out the format for the first time, and I want to learn as much as possible. Surprisingly few channels, and none with as good content :)
