Love the video, as always. :) If you want to try some Norwegian food, I translated this recipe for a "Fyrstekake" or prince cake. It is a traditional cake, and it reminds me a lot about going to visit my relatives at christmas as they would all have this cake ready, haha! Hope you try it and enjoy it as much as us Norwegians! --- Norwegian “Fyrstekake” (prince cake) Dough 100 g powdered sugar 200 g butter (room temperature) 300 g flour 1 egg 2 tablespoons cold water Filling 250 g toasted almonds 200 g powdered sugar, or light brown sugar 3 egg whites 1. Make the dough. Mix together all the ingredients and let the dough rest for half an hour in the fridge. Roll it out until about 1 cm (about 0.5 inches) thickness and place in the bottom of a 22-24 cm (9 inch) springform pan with about 3-4 cm (about 1.5 inches) “crust” up the sides. Leave some dough to place on top of the filling. 2. Place the almonds on a baking sheet and put in the oven for about 5-7 minutes at 180 degrees celsius (350 degrees fahrenheit). Let them cool before you ground them up. 3. Blend together ground up almonds, powdered sugar/light brown sugar and egg whites. Place the filling into the dough-”shell”. 4. Roll out the remaining dough and cut 1 cm (about 0.5 inches) thick ribbons to place in a criss-cross pattern on top of the filling. Fasten the ribbons to the edges of the dough-”shell”. 5. Bake for 35-45 minutes at 180 degrees celsius (350 degrees fahrenheit). Watching this while eating bland rice porridge and kimchi (nursing a cold). The empanadas look delicious!

in Argentina the salad that would go with a meal would be with regular green leafs, tomatoes, and onions, maybe olives, with salt/lemon juice/oil dressing. That's how they serve it in restaurants, and it's also how people make salad in their homes..lots of Italian influence on the food here :)

I enjoyed it .. very yummy.. I've tried the (Arabe) it's super yummy .. a friend of mine he's originally from Lebanon.. so once his mom invited me to have lunch, so she did the "Arabe" she use to do a hand made dough then she cooks the ground beef with salt and pepper and then adds caramelized onions.. then she open the dough and stuffs the meat and bake it ... amazing... I advice you to try (Manakeesh) a Lebanese dish I've tried also .. you can find in any Lebanese restaurant near your aria

I'm Argentinian myself and I've never eaten potato nor arabe filling empanadas, the criolla one without the raisings is really good, but depends on how they prepare the filling, chicken ones are awesome, you gotta try it!
