I love your sat chats! I have a t-shirt now that says "Sorry I'm late, my cat was sitting on me." I also love the Frugal Fridays. I still haven't been ready to sign up for a craft fair. Every time I think I can, another strain of covid appears. :( I have started buying most of my groceries online now. And, I agree about cooking getting boring. The shopping and cooking are two of my responsibilities that I dread the most. And, thanks for showing the rest of your studio! I love how organized and pretty it looks!

Love hanging out with your Sat Chat and a cup of coffee before jumping into the day! It was about -8 before the wind chill up in my neck of the woods, when I got up this morning. We are definitely going through a cold snap to start the year. I haven’t necessarily gone on a no buy, but rather a quest of discovery to explore and create with all the supplies the Want Monster dragged home to its lair, otherwise known as my studio, throughout last year! That flower you created is lovely! Stay warm and have a great weekend. I am tasked with my beginning of the year reorganizing and resetting of my studio this weekend, which can be daunting, but it always feels so good to come in and create just after a reset, like everything is fresh and new and that spark of creativity can flow a bit easier. We had a terrible storm Friday night that took out our power for 29 hours...ugh, so I missed Sat Chat! It was nice to watch you this morning. My feeling of dread in the winter time doesn't help when we have these storms. Your cat is absolutely beautiful, I had a tuxedo cat 20 years ago and she was the nicest feline, still miss her! you are such a delight to watch.i have several paper trimmers ,i got a used one at goodwill its a big one with no handle ,i rigged one with a drawer pull .it cuts nice most of the time .you got me busy now im going to cut my ugly scrapbook papers and make them pretty with gelly prints,thank you for all you share with us and keeping me company for the past 2 years,ive been with you for all your videos since you started .i get my groceies delivered by amazon its awsome

Great Sat Chat! I agree with the January blahs because of the weather. Yesterday, we actually had a beautiful sunny day but today is gray & yucky. I enjoy watching normal craft tours too. The IKEA white rooms are unrealistic to me & intimidating. I was really excited to go to an IKEA for the first time a few months ago & finally see all the things promoted on RU-vid, but it was the most hellish shopping experience ever. I will never go back. Have a safe & warm week!

I look forward to your Sat Chats! They are especially wonderful during this pandemic, when we are disconnected from many of our friends! A group of us used to get together and stamp and chat. I have an art night with friends on Zoom every Friday evening. It’s not quite the same as being together, but you can include friends from far away and you don’t have to pack up your supplies to haul around.

Have you considered listing the cards in lots of 10? Just variety sets or single holiday lots. Also makes shipping easier - maybe lots of 20, or just enough for a small priority flat rate box?

I've seen people post videos of what they want to destash, like travelers notebooks and paper bundles. People can just email what lot they want and it's first come first served. That might be a more manageable way to do it and there's less to keep track of because you're doing bundles. If you use the flate rate boxes/envelopes from the post office it would make the shipping that much easier. Your channel is the perfect platform and it would help you gauge demand without having to set up a store front and taking on those initial costs. I'm not sure if there are rules regarding that on youtube, but it might be worth researching.

Yaaaay! Sat chat! Love Sat chat!! We dont really get the winter blues much here in southern Arizona since todays high was 69° but I, ME, I get the blues bc I miss the seasons that come with living in Northern states- like the beautiful changing leaves in Autumn, and the first snow of the year, and spring flowers...i miss it, so much!!! I know its hard to believe but the same sun everyday, all day long- it gets so...boring and monotonous...lol lets trade...:) Anyway super cute fluffy kitty, i have a kitty and shes blind and a biotch...lol but still shes super smart and has learned to touch her nose to mine when I ask for a kiss and a few other tricks- which makes me melt!! Great sat chat as always- thanks for sharing and much love!!!

the four things you did not want was a brilliant video. That flower looks awesome. You know what I have been craving lately? And looks like more of you do, watercolor bokeh. I did not have me a stencil template with cirkle sizes, and got me one for like 5 euro. I am so going to play with the bokeh technique. If you wonder what bokeh is; it's like the boubles you see in pictures with orbs of light in different shades. That is a handy trick to tell if a picture is shopped or not, but it looks really cool in landscapes so I wanted to give me a try as it is a nice way to hide mistakes :P

The Critique Club project is great. Happy to listen to the latest podcast. I did make a list of my Colored Pencils and Watercolors as suggested in the podcast . I have a good collection of both , not yet a hoard though. Of course when someone lives in 240 square feet it won’t take much to become a hoard. Haven’t listed my coloring books and various papers yet. The list did make my commitment to a no buy year easier. Have a great weekend and hope the snow ❄️ does a bypass in your neck of the woods.

Awww, your kitty has fabulously long antennas! 😻 My little guy had is surgery at the beginning of the month and two days ago the stitches came out. Things are looking good, let's hope they stay that way. My kitty's health is my number one concern. And vet bills are expensive, so that makes my buy-less-year a little easier so far. I love Sat Chats. They are so uplifting. It inspires me to not be so grumpy all the time. Every weekend I scroll through your channel to see what can inspire me to stop thinking about work and start being creative. Lately I need to do crafts that my toddler can't interrupt which is an interesting hurdle. I have my official art room upstairs that doesn't get much use with small children but a few supplies downstairs where my son plays. Now I'm going to see if I can do one of your gouache tutorials.

OMG!!!! Your kitty is the exact twin to a cat that I had when I lived in NY!!!! When I moved to Ohio I had to give her up because my Sister and Mom are allergic to cats! My POOKIE had only 3 feet we never knew what happened to her front left foot, but I miss her so much and you made me cry seeing your cat!

I'm not on a no buy yet until after my birthday in March, but I avoided watching the video because I already have several color pencil sets and really do not need more. However I did just purchased the pretty excellent paints even though I have a number of watercolor sets already LOL. Yes, winter is not the best time of year for me either. Love the flower painting and can't wait to see the video. This weekend I'm just meeting with my journal buddy for some crafting time and making a junk journal to use up some of the junk mail I've been accumulating. I hope you have a great weekend Lindsay.

@@pamellia Hi Pamellia I was introduced to my crafting buddy through a journal swap with Jennibellie and she is coordinating another journal swap this month. After me and my journal buddy communicated and swapped journals for over a year we decided to meet over zoom on the weekends to craft together since neither of us know anyone in our area either that is creative.

OMG you are just like me. I watch shows set in Seattle and can't get past the "That is not Seattle, it is Vancouver Canada". I would be happy to be a consultant for them lol. But my brain is never in the story line it is the location. Lol. As far as time of year, January is my favorite month because my brain always tells me we are over the hump and on the way to spring! My steps to spring are the Cathedral Flower Festival in the last weekend of January AND the Fish Fry Dinners during Lent which start on the Friday before Lent at my local Holy Name Parish Church Basement. By the time the last dinner is accomplished it is Easter and as such it is spring. I also applaud the 22nd of December when the days are knowably and visibly getting longer with the warming sunshine.

My craftroom is finally, FINALLY organized. It's a hodgepodge collection of bookshelves and storage containers and it's been a challenge making sense of it, but I have. Whew! This weekend, I'm getting all my laundry and cleaning done ahead of the coming winter dump. We're on a dividing line between snow and ice, praying for at least mostly snow. We haven't had any since 2018, so.... thanks for sharing your floof baby 🐈‍⬛❤🐈‍⬛❤🐈‍⬛ and I hope you have a great week!

Wonderful Sat chat Lindsay! I am a day late, we spent Saturday feeding a friends cats who are out of town, and helping my Dad’s new wife insulate a canvas to hang in front of a hexagonal shaped window and attach hanging hardware to it as well! I did get a notification from Rosi that the handmade sketchbook with the color papers from India have shipped! I will share on Instagram when they come and tag you if that is ok? Thank you for sharing your time with us today even though we know you pre recorded it! It is still an enjoyable time! Be safe, take care and have a lovely day!

Morning Lindsay....Happy SatChat Day! I'm happy to report our weather was a bit warmer this week, but we have had valley inversions with a few mornings of freezing fog. Who knows what this week will bring. Your hair always looks so nice and the bright colors are so cheerful. Love, love the cat, we have one very similar with lots of fluffy hair. He thinks he rules the house. He was our addition during the beginning of Covid. Your flower painting is gorgeous. I'm looking forward to that. Thanks, have a great weekend and stay warm. 🐱

I got the Brutfuner macaron pencils yesterday and I am so excited to use them with my pastel Ohuhu markers and the pastel Derwent watercolor palette. I have been in a pastel mood lately and think I am going to attempt the popsicles you did a while ago.

Yay Sat chat time! I'm normally not up so late but I'm not long back from picking hubby up from the ER where he got 4 stitches after a fish tank exploded and sliced his leg 😅 Never a dull moment

Hello Tally, you look beautiful. Oh, and so do you Lindsay. I pray that you and yours are all doing well. Well, today here in Arkansas we are experiencing a bit of your wintertime weather. Just a couple of hours ago, it was cloudy, windy and cold, but now it's windy, cold ❄️ and blowing snow. Yes, this is Arkansas, you never know what you're going to get from one minute to the next. Love the lily painting! So glad it will be in Critique Club. The sweater from Kohls is definitely the softest ever! Spent this morning Kon Mari-ing shoes and srt supplies! Such a feeling of accomplishment but of course much left to do!

@@thefrugalcrafter Homemade Washi Tape....I thought it up myself....its not exactly washi tape in the sense it cannot be removed....but its colorful and easy to make. I'm so excited for this class ...thanx for asking.
