In the last question ,if we just see directly from the line isnt slope 1? Please clarify how this works?

i think what you are asking about is the slope in the graph looks like it is 1 - a slope of 1 is a 45 degree angle - however that is only true if the scales of the x and y axis are the same - this is an important thing to watch out for
