hi katya, thanks for uploading this video it now made sense to me because I get these type of questions wrong ,but I wanted to know what is the differenece between present participle and gerunds because I get confused between these two

Hey Sam! If you are prepping for the SAT, you DON'T need to know this difference. You can treat every -ing word as a gerund. All you need to know for the SAT is that gerunds are NOT verbs.

Hey Katya, just subscribed to your channel. Do think I could become solely an SAT reading and writing tutor without being a math tutor? I have been teaching English for 12 years and want to become an SAT tutor. I'd like to make a higher income and know test prep is in demand. What do you think? :)

I think you can do that, as I teach SAT reading and writing but not math. I work for an agency so there are other teachers that can take the math part. So i think you can partner up with a math tutor if you can find one. if not, that could be a problem because most students would like to get a “one-stop” training😂
