Great bro For viewers The desktop hdd is power by 5 volt 1.5Ampere and 2 amp 12 volt. So 5 amp is provided by usb port from and 12 is applied separately. So, you can use old SMPS power supply or 12 volt charger to power 12 v input

late answer, but by connecting the two USBs to your PC, they both draw power from it to power your hard drive. 1 USB alone does not give enough power, that's why there are two of them which should be plugged in both at once.

No need of windows in hdd. Any hdd will work. But need external power supply.

yay tu chalo visible ker kay bata dya ? ager hard disk external ka pcb jo kay mera hard disk external 2 tb ka kharab hua hay ius ka data pc per show kernay ka yay chance work korkablae hay yay nahi ,malumat ho tu repy kero ,important data mera recover kerna hay may abhi parashan nahi hun magur ager data recover is ko buy ker kay bhi nahi hua ,aur next chance "buying inclosur of the hard disk" bachta hay buss ager woo bhi failed hogaya tu phir ms dos hi kay zarya data recover hosakta hay magur ius may problem yay hay kay data "file naming conventions" zaya hojay gi mutlub sari ki sari entire files ap ki browse pc drive path may ksi folder may "Raw" data ap ko mill jay gi , jo kay brain ki asi ki tasi ker day ga meray , help kero ager ker saktay ho ap.
