'Satan Is on a Mission': Pastor's Pointed Message to Vanessa Hudgens Over Witchcraft Film

A pastor is warning about spiritual danger after actress Vanessa Hudgens announced a new, unscripted feature film surrounding her interest in witchcraft. "Satan is on a mission to normalize the demonic, because the more influencers and people that he can get to normalize the demonic, the easier it is to get the masses to receive it in their lives," Mike Signorelli, pastor of V1 Church in New York City, told CBN's Faithwire. "So, this is a concerted effort. If you're a Christian, if you're a believer, and if you have discernment, it's very obvious to see." As Faithwire reported, Hudgens is teaming up with Bunim-Murray Productions and her best friend, GG Magreem, for “Dead Hot: Season of the Witch,” a 90-minute voyage into the supposed “supernatural.” The movie, which is in post-production, will document the duo’s journey to Salem, Massachusetts, where they reportedly learn about witchcraft and try to track down “ghosts,” among other spiritual activities. Signorelli knows some will laugh off warnings about this content, but he pointed to the cultural obsession with psychics, mediums, and other such spiritual activities. And he delivered a direct message to the actress.

We are told to pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus Christ. Witches pray to a "holy spirit" as do some pagans. There is ONE God who IS a Spirit, and HE is both the Father and the Son. He is "Christ in you, the Hope of glory" AND "There is one God and Father of all who is above all and through all and IN you all. " The Son IS the Eternal Father. Isaiah 9:6 Jesus said, "I and the Father are One (heis, one in NUMBER), "He who has seen Me has seen the Father" Pray to the FATHER/Creator God in the name of Jesus Christ. All other communication with spirits is forbidden by God in His Word.

I recently became a Christian again after 7 years studying and practicing new age, I never got into witchcraft exactly but I studied astrology and other questionable spiritual things….I noticed two changes in me since coming back to Christ. First, I feel more peaceful than ever, the sense of confusion I had before is gone. And second, I feel absolutely no desire to celebrate Halloween this year. I learned about the origins of the holiday and I want no part in it. All I want is to know Christ more and to follow Him. 🙏🏼

I saw a short reel of her on Kelly Clarkson’s show. Shockingly, Kelly was talking about how cool that is and how she was wants to try it. The one thing not being addressed that goes hand in hand is just how DEAD our churches are! I dabbled in the occult for a handful of years, and then became saved later, and there is MORE power in White Wicca than in many churches! And White Wicca is less powerful than Black wicca! The journey starts off innocently, safely, but the more comfortable one becomes the more enchanted one becomes with 'The Dark Side'! because thats where the real power is! The problem becomes the occult isnt a pay-as-you-go spirituality. You charge it to your spiritual 'Credit card' and eventually the bill comes due! And NOBODY can afford that Bill! Thats when it gets scary! I never experienced scary in my life because the people who were further into it got to the scary parts! And that warned me away! But telling people 'Thou Shalt Not' is a horrible way to keep people away from bad things! if that is all one has to convince others to stay away you are better off staying silent. We NEED people with REAL testimonies to share that it is NEVER benign! But we also need to rediscover the Power of Christ again! We have lost that in so many churches, even the Pentecostal churches are losing the divine power.

Been pounding the drum on this subject too, over and over, but mostly its just Crickets 🦗 even from believers! The problem is that so many churches believe that things that happened in the Book of Acts are not for believers today, most “Christians” have never heard a sermon on casting out demons, on fasting and prayer or deliverance, on praying in the Spirit! Its just way too messy for people nowadays. Its going to take something phenomenal to turn this around and that starts with people praying and seeking God for extended periods of time. So far, few have seen the need for such dedication. I pray constantly but often find it difficult to have significant breakthroughs. Its also very hard to find prayer partners or people who truly know how to just love the Lord and honor Him, spend time with Him and then the signs will naturally follow. To do this requires a lot of discipline, which l still struggle with myself so lm not judging, just deeply concerned! We think we need to be doing things, but true power flows or follows those who honor Him with time, sometimes silently waiting on Him, sometimes singing to Him, or reading His word out loud. The Azuza St revivals were a testimony of this as well as the revivals in Scotland around 100 yrs ago. I am seeking the Lord about this and am encouraged by your post. I know many others are starting to really seek God about our situation. It is very serious. God bless you!

I had this dreams of always seeing people that had passed on in my dreams. I kept questioning why when they were alive I could never dream with them but immediately they passed on is when I could begin to talk to them in my dreams. I kept praying one by one, so if I dream with any of them upon waking up I could pray to send their spirit away from me. Then one day I just realized instead of praying specifically to refuse the spirit of a specific person into my life, I decided to ask God to just totally lock all gates that permit such spirits to access me in my dreams. And since then, I have never had a dream with anyone that passes on. My friends felt my dreams were normal and that maybe it is because I had thought about the people that passed on but I just chose to take it spiritual because deep in me I felt these were not just mere dreams.

Where does the scriptures say those words verbatim? 🤔 Using the name of Jesus Christ is the same as using the name of Yahusha Hamashiach... the "J" makes no difference in the power that the name of the LORD has, because demons run at the name regardless... My point being, Hallelujah is the same as Halleluyah. Also, most people don't actually pronounce the "J" in the word "Hallelujah" anyways; they pronounce it as "Halleluyah" or in Greek as it's written, "Alleluia".

When my daughter was in Grade school a student in her class brought in a Ouija board. I told my daughter that she was not allowed to use it. I explained to her that it was a way that demonic forces could use and confuse people. So the next day when she went back to school and they asked her to play with is she said no my mom says not to and she explained why. Her teacher who professed to be a Christian made fun of her!!!! That was over 30 years ago. My daughter loved that teacher very much but it hurt her and of course the children chose to mock her for her not participating. I was not happy that my daughter would have been condemned for bringing a bible to school yet a child could bring a Ouija Board. My dad was a pastor and he spoke of how we have to be willing to stand in the face of persecution. Can you imagine how bad it has gotten if it was that way back 30 some years ago!!!! I have granddaughters that I am so standing on faith for them to be willing to stand. They went to Christian Daycare but are in school now!!!! Prayers lots of prayers going up for them.

What you said also reminds me of how in my faith (Islam), we're reminded of how everyone is created as a slave/servant of God, but not everyone chooses to act as such in their lives. To worship means to obey and be guided by something even if you don't know it's full wisdom, but you trust it and let it guide you and you chase it for survival in life. If we don't worship God alone, then we're either worshipping money, fame, society/what other people think, jinns & black magic, fashion trends, a celebrity or another human being, our emotions (which are often not right), or simply yourself - if it's yourself, it's something Muslims call "worhipping the 'nafs' " i.e. the spirit of the self - thus doing whatever we want 100% out of our own desire and having arrogance over God. Being a slave to anything else will always lead us eventually to destruction and a lost sense of self, making the wrong or inefficient decisions for our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing, *whereas* actively being a slave to God alone is what can only fill us in all the right places, protect our soul from harm, grant us contentment and most importantly grant us Paradise in the Hereafter. May He always keep us on the Straight Path, and bring us back to it whenever we become distracted from it. 💛

Oh they do that at all the fairs. Palm reading the Magic Ball to tell your future. POTIONS and PERFUMES that claim to have all these different sensations. My daughter purchased books cards and even I was reading a lot of spiritual books. Now they have people chanting and doing magic mushroom trips to open themselves to these SPIRITS that are ready to JUMP inside us. Last year on that witches night, in my suburb there was a terrible thing that was done at an old farm that is opened for suburban families to see a little bit of farm life, a number of goats were terribly abused & 1 died. Before I got saved for many years I never thought there was anything wrong with it I was really into watching things like Long Island Medium and the dead files and even Ghost Hunters I really enjoyed those shows It really fascinating to me because I didn't know the Word of God I didn't know what I know now as a believer and a few of my young adult children are really into that stuff and Halloween, scary movies etc. and I used to encourage it because I didn't know and so I'm going to difficult situation where they think I'm a hypocrite when tell them that those things aren't good at all they know I'm a Believer now but I try to share the Gospel with them and tell them what the word of God says and why I don't watch that stuff anymore but they don't want to hear it they just continue to do what they always have they think I'm just crazy

I use to watch all these shows. Just thought of them as entertainment. I use to try to find the trickery in the shows. Spirits do exist around us and I've been aware of them since I was a young girl. I knew of people who claimed they toyed with magic. I never gave any thought other than it wasn't something I wanted to get involved with. When I read about it in the Bible it made me realize why. Knowing now that they are ALL doing it even in Religions it explains why things are the way they are. Did you know that Monster Drinks and now this New Death Water has SPELLS put in them while they're being produced? They are putting SPELLS on everything that they make. Once you find these things out it's never ending. The Magical World of Disney Disneyland all part of IT!

I understand what you’re saying as my children were teens during my lost worldly sinful times and they often tell me “well you did it!” Now I’m in the Word of God and I see, my eyes have been opened to see all the sin, idolatry and witchcraft in the world that is displayed more and more as just a myth etc. I can say that I just stand on the Word and I pray in faith believing that just as Christ saved me from My sin and wrong ways He will save my children from their sin and wrong ways. God knew how I’d live and He knew my kids would grow up to do what I did so He already has a plan! He has a plan for your children also so STAND on the WORD & quote scripture over them. Like”LORD You say in Your Word that “You will contend with those that contend with me and my children you will save” and trust God is true and will perform His Word! Keep praying and seeing them saved even if they are not living for God yet for their season is coming to be saved and set free!
