Robert A there are a lot of different types of OCD. It can be people scared of the dark, who must flip on and off switched a certain amount of times, to wanted everything to be perfect like a neat freak
Aaron M What in God’s great Earth do YOU a think OCD is. I have OCD, and so does my mom, and both brothers. I would know what OCD is. I really want to know what it is to you...
The gas port on the top is a compensator. The c in G-18c stands for compensator. A G-18 usually has a flat top like the G-17. Since the G18 is such a small gun with such a high rate of fire the compensator helps control recoil a wee bit, otherwise it'd fly itself to the moon and back on a 33rd magdump
@thecowboi039 full auto there's gonna be a lot of recoil anyway, but with a non ported barrel, muzzle climb will be greater. If you cover ur with your hand?, well it will damage the crap out your hand, but applying downward pressure will presumably reduce recoil (or just jam it from interfering with the slide) on the airsoft one tho? The compensator does nothing except for slightly lightening the external barrel I suppose
Actually, glocks are not with a hamer, so they don't need the slide to be cocked back to shoot once the mag is in, so when he released the slide there was already one bb in the chamber
zZmanYTB glocks have an internal hammer the term you are thinking of is double action so the trigger can cock the gun but racking the slide does the same while also chambering a bb
I liked this straight outta the box, the impromptu format combined with the gameplay footage was a nice change. I'd even go so far as to say that helps give the consumer a better perspective on what they're buying.
You can get them and get it working perfectly fine. But for the price of both the gun and the RONI, you might aswell buy an AEG and get better results. But I'd love to see some gameplay tho.
@@Elhugexx The same can be said for the real steel RONI set up. I just thought itd be sick. Nice to know others already went through with it. Id just like to feel the build quality of the RONI for the gbbs before id buy it. Also dont own a glock gbb but the 18c might change that.
Thanks for not being a total dick, like most tryhard firearms guys tend to be. I'm more into firearms than I am into airsoft, but I still love being able to shoot people and not go to prison afterward, which is why I airsoft.
I like the tm Glock better just because it has your markings, it’s more consistent, and it cycles faster because of the ...plastic.. slide. Love that EF is having their 18c come with extended mags.
Theory why full auto was sloppy hop. I believe the loss of hop comes from the rapid gas displacement. And as the silicone in the green gas accumulates on the bucking, it inhibits the ability to hop. That fraction of second between semi shots is enough to have proper contact with the rubber and enough to not "hydroplane" over and have enough contact.
@@junixsk8 Sure does, many gbbr users actually buy the softest bucking available for cold weather to avoid this issue. Disadvantage being the increased wear outside of winter.
@@BravoOneCharlie I'm saying that because I had this issue with my lm4. Specifically when using propane and "too much" silicone. Granted green gas bottles are the "perfect" amount of silicone, it does affect when rapid fire. Not taking your point out of question at all. I agree that cold makes it harder to provide hop. I also used to live in NH, and always played in MA fields. GBBs up north were not very happy with the cold. But again, I agree with your opinion and sure it comes with experience.
The loss os hopup in full auto is related to the cooldown effect, but not in the way that was said in earlier comments. The cold hardens the hop rubber, yes, but that tends to add more hop. It is less noticeable in the Marui type of hopup because the thin steel piece that presses the hop has also some elasticity. In KSC, the hop gain with cold gas and quick shots is more noticeable. What happens in full auto GBB´s is also related to cool down, but is different. The cool down makes the gun use more gas for each shot, and more gas means more silicon oil on the hop rubber. The hop rubber becomes slippery and applies less hop effect. To correct this effect, you just have to use dry gas (Like Abbey brut sniper gas). It will work a lot better. You´ll have to lube your gun yourself once in a while.
a GBB firing auto is going to have lower hopup since the power is going to be reduced due to cool down. It's also a new gun that probably has an over lubed hopup rubber and barrel which will also cause consistency issues.
@@Jeeps-ye5ct one of the matrix m4's and the SAI 1911 DS in c02. The 1911 made me satisfied enough even if i didn't get the m249 para I was hoping for. The Matrix M4 will be a decent backup gun if my usual MTC3 is down for any reason.
9:38 Closest is D from Node, and far right is Airsoft Alfonse, 12:15 is Niko from Corridor getting shot (Must be playing TTT with the Node/ Corridor Crew)
You lose hop bcause of cooldown. As the rubber gets cold it gets a little stiffer and therefore applies less hop on the bb. Furthermore the energy drops as well = less bb spin. Its pretty normal
@@borkly2491 I believe when I posted this comment, both were the same price at $168. The full auto was what got my attention but I ended up getting the g17. Shortly after I ordered it, I changed my mind and got the g19 for it's size and convenience. This was during the middle of COVID so you know there was no customer service and delayed tracking. I got a refund for the g17 but it arrived anyway lol. So I got both guns for $168. I sometimes put the g17 mag in my g19 as an extended mag
Ironic definition: Acting in the opposite way to what is expected, and typically causing wry amusement because of this. You wouldn’t expect a lot of the cool airsoft guns to come from a country that would want to ban guns, therefore you sir are wrong. Shame on you.
I have had a WE G18c for almost 2 years now and I really do enjoy the gun. Built a stock for it, have a grip, and made a rail for a red dot. Only problem with them is when full auto is on and you dump your mag, most of the time your slide doesnt lock back when your empty due to mag cooldown.
They make ARP9 and MP5 HPA adapters. It fits the Glock aesthetic better. I would go with ARP9 because they have 30rd up to 1500rd mags and drums and it’s vaguely Glock mag-ish
Just saying y’all can buy We tech G18s for 85 bucks that are just as good. Elite force is charging almost 210$ for this. And the only difference is the trademark. Make your decision...
Based on my knowledge in chemistry, I think the BBs losing hop up power is because of lower temperatures, the hotter a projectile is, the more kinetic energy it has.
Take one that you like the looks of. Read in on the internet about it. Go to a shop and feel it, shoulder it. If you dont really care, take an M4, it is widely used so enough aftermarket parts. Lastly, call it an Airsoft replica and have fun
You can speed load these magazines a bit down from the BB ramp, they made the spring carrier slot just wide enough however they need to stagger to fill properly so it can be a bit tricky. In other words you can dump bb right out of a bottle into the long slit thingee it's wide enough.
I was told by my local store not to switch between semi & full auto, when the slide is not cocked so I always lock back the slide when I choose to switch
When you take apart a Glock even the models you need to pull the trigger before disassembly. If you saw when you put the upper back on the lower the spring shot outwards it’s not supposed to do that. Taking the gun down wrong will cause you to strip the the lower and also it will rub against the trigger manifold which you don’t want. I have a collection of real and model glocks. Love the videos just wanted to share that.
Just for anyone who happens to watch this & doesn't know. The "issue" on full auto isn't the hop, it's the inherently inefficiency of the blowback system in auto. When you switch it to "grin mode" it wastes a lot of gas, straight outa the ejection port & the FPS is all over the place. However well your hop is adjusted means nothing, so forget accuracy & just enjoy, it's not called a "fun switch" for nothing.
