Yessss. Elliooot, u know whats up. For sure best glove save of all time. Has always been my fav. So much goes into that save to MAKE it the best of all time. It being in overtime. Nabokov tracking the puck and have the push all the way over to snag the puck RIGHT ON THE LINE! His outstretched body. The puck landing perfectly in webbing. And do top it all off? Richards got everything behind that shot. He didnt whiff on it at all, so it was a perfect play from dallas, and Nabokov answers perfectly. Its a shame they ended up losing that game Not to mention the timing. U can tell some saves, the goalies timing the glove. This shave was all in real time, no time to spare. Him stretching and the shot are like in sync
Look at the glove stop by Curtis "Cujo" Joseph for the Edmonton Oilers vs. Dallas Stars in the 1997 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Todd Marchant scored just after to win the series in game 7 and in OT at that. It's better than Nabokov's.
@@marksmith5883 i dont think its even close. Nabokov still way better. Josephs saves good, but its more out of desperation/luck. Did Nabokov have desperation/luck as well? Omg yea, BUT, u cant tell. It just looks like nabaokov is just doing what hes suppose to do
@@Papi4l2 yeah I guess that's part of the equation that plays into it. I guess the thing for me is one is during regular season and one is during playoffs and in a elimination game. Sort of where if Tampa loses the game they don't really lose too much, except for points or standings. And the other ends your season. Both were amazing though.
