That's a MAZDA 4 cylinder 27 1/2hp, inline, water cooled engine in your 'SATOH S650G BISON'...............Mitsubishi, Mazda and Ford were the distributors. To my knowledge Mazda was the only producer of the engine in that tractor.
Literally looking at the same tractor tomorrow. It will be my first tractor other than a small garden tractor. I have no clue what to look for or even how to operate it. Hopefully it works out and I don’t kill Myself. 🍻🤣
Nice I think satoh had a connection to David Brown Tractors and some were sold badged as David Brown hence the styling of body work and colour Thanks for the look round
After looking on Tractor Data Mazda was the only engine listed in these as odd as it seems. Then' after watching your startup portion of this video I am absolutely convinced that it is in no way shape or form a My itchy Bushi engine... Why not? Because' I could still see the tractor because there was no smoke!!...lol Color?? All white with red bullseye wheels like Japan's flag has my vote btw...lol Thanks for sharing.
Well built tractor, I just purchased a Satoh S650G that is going to have the Mazda engine replaced with a Kubtoa V2203 DI, if anyone is interested in buying the adapter plate that makes this swap possible give me a holler gille710 gmail
