Today I happen to brought my camera along to my practise room in my music school and since I had some time left, I recorded an improvised cover of "Satori Maiden ~ 3rd eye" the main theme of Komeiji Satori from Touhou 11 - Subterranean Animism.
Sorry for the low audio quality, since it's directly recorded from the camcorder.
Everything is improvised in 10 minutes.

glowserg i think bosendorfer imperial is the most expensive one. and yes in our school (in germany) we have a steinway grand piano and a steinweg one. we are a public school btw.

@@xxxxxPr0xxxxx I toured a college (Here In America) that had a Stienway double concert grand in one of its main halls. It was amazing, and it was sooooooo easy to play. I can't even explain it, but somehow $250,000 seemed worth it. It just felt amazing to play. It was funny cause some people recorded me playing and I was trending on snapchat the next day and constantly saw people walking around campus watching me play lol. I credit that more to the piano than my ability though 😅.

I would have to go 1:Meiling(Read her article in the Perfect Memento in Strict Sense book, She is not that strong but has absolutely no weaknesses whatsoever.) 2: Hata no Kokoro(F***ing emotion lord S*** right there, also her last word.) 3:Koishi(I want to be easily forgettable, no one really notices me anyways. As I like to arrange Touhou songs myself (mostly piano), I just cannot take this. Your rendition (and its an improvisation?!) is just beyond my capacity of excepting that this is real life. It is just like.. "Darn, I always wanted to arrange this song in this way". But meh. Well, I am glad that this video found its way into public, because I fcking love it. Alright, I need to cool down now....

Yup I've watched marasy8 in the past. He also has some great arrangements, but I like animenz's play style better because it incorporates elements of other composers such as Chopin. I would love to hear more touhou arrangements in that kind of classical style.

Really neat for an improv. I'd love to hear a version with better audio quality at some point. Favorite characters - based solely on the games and not secondary works - are Alice Margatroid, Kazami Yuuka, and Kirisame Marisa. But if we're including other works, the Renko and Maribel stories are super legit.

Mine would be 1) Sekibanki because I really like just everything about her 2) Alice Margatroid since I feel like I can relate to her so well in a lot of ways 3) Youmu, so I used to be like a hardcore PCB runner, and there was always that last hurdle that last final challenge that was arguably harder than Yuyuko herself. Youmu is, for me, the most difficult boss in any Touhou game, so I got some respect for the girl

I like both for different reasons. Marasy has mad speed/precision, while Animezzz has some pretty creative variations that work quite well.
