Underrated card I use in my Satoru deck is Grozoth, 9/9 defender that when enters lets you search your library for any number of creatures with mana value 9 and put them into hand. Gets things like Void winnower, Artisan of Kozilek, Hand of Emrakul, Phyrexian Triniform, Triplicate titan, Demon of deaths gate, and hulking metamorph. Great just to fill up your hand so you won't run out of big beefy scary bois to ninjutsu in.

Rune-Scarred Demon is better for the combo, because you can't Ninjitsu with the Hoarding Broodlord exiled cards. For this deck specifically, Rune-Scarred Demon would 100% be the better card.

Works best with a Silver-fur on the table to reduce the ninjitsu costs and a low cost ninja. Infinite Peregrine Drakes that can attack anyone.

Yeah silver fur master is hella dope in the deck. Only warning is that it has negative synergy with Tetsuko Umezawa, if you play that.

Day 45 of guessing the Moxfield ad at 16:44. I've got a Yuriko deck (that I admittedly hardly ever play anymore), so i never really thought about building Satoru. It definitely looks like it could be really fun though

I think the best way to make this deck is with about 20 satoru hits and shuffle them up before the the game and add in 10 at random. This deck is very eye roll inducing with blightsteel being in the deck 100 percent of the time.

Going infinite does not work with Satoru as you have to draw a card anytime you activate the ninjitsu ability, so max activation will probably be at most 85 times before you deck yourself or run thassa's oracle for an alt wincon

Rune Scarred demon is better than hoarding broodlord because you can't ninjitsu in the Broodlord target.

maybe. but broodlord can convoke himself in (let's say satoru is dead and u have a few small creatures) and if broodlord stays alive the creature/spell u grabbed can convoke in as well.

hell ya u got a list floating online somewhere? also do u play historic brawl or just paper commander? for some reason they buffed satoru in magic arena he's 3/4 and 1 less colorless to ninjutsu in something. also grislbrand is legal in that format hehe. no rune-brand demon but hoarding broodlord does a lot of work
