Sattu, A Refreshing Summer Drink from Grounded Barley & Shakkar 

Summer is intense in Pakistan. Temperature may goes up to 53C. You need to drink a lot to stay hydrated. Beside water Pakistan has so many options to quench your thirst. Sattu, is one of them. Its simply a mix of grounded barley grains with cold water and to make the drink sweet they add shakkar. Shakkar, is extracted from sugar cane juice. Its very much an organic drink and has numerous health benefits.
