Saturday at Bournemouth Airport for the final day of the Air Festival, and we kick off with the BBMF Avro Lancaster PA474 being prepared and departing to open the show, followed closely by the Ultimate Warbirds Hawker Hurricane MK.I P2902 and Spitfire MK Vc EE602. A rain shower soon followed which saw the Lancaster return to the airport, before the RAF Tutor, AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers, Red Devils Parachutists and Rich Goodwin in his modified jet Pitts Special all get airborne to complete their displays alongside usual airport traffic.
We see more aircraft and helicopters leaving including the RAF display typhoon jet 'Moggy' and Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress 'Sally B' flying across the airport before displaying out over the seafront, while as the final spitfires come in to land. Post the display, and as the crowds at the fence had dispersed, the Lancaster took advantage of a clear evening weather window to give a bonus departure to the lucky few watching, and returned to RAF Coningsby!
