SCP-4587 Object Class: Euclid Containment Procedures: SCP-4567 is to be invited to at least one session of video game play every two weeks. The video games used during this session must fulfill two requirements: be colloiquially considered fighting games, have received at least one review score less than 7/10. There must be precisely three other participants in the session, and said session must occur on a Saturday morning. Description : SCP-4587, originally known as ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️, is a young adult with a large beard and deep blue eyes. Interestingly, his visage can be perfectly mapped on to the Shroud of Turin, though the implications of this are not known. SCP-4587’s main anomalous properties manifest whenever he attends a session of video game play compliant with the containment procedures listed above. Upon arriving at the location of the session of play, SCP-4587 will proclaim that he has “[REDACTED]”, regardless of whether or not he was initially requested to bring anything to the session. At this point, at least one other participant in the session will attempt to murder SCP-4587. These attempts invariably fail, and shortly afterward all individuals involved seem to lose any ill will toward each other, usually around the time the video game begins operations. If SCP-4587 does not attend one of these sessions at least once every two weeks, a secondary, more dangerous anomalous property begins to manifest. All human individuals within a mile radius will begin to become obsessed with japanese animation in the “Slice-of-life” genre and the PlayStation Vita portable gaming system, occasionally to the point of [DATA EXPUNGED], which can result in extreme pain and death. The manifestation of these anomalous properties does not appear to be voluntary on the part of SCP-4587.

The beat em up videos have been weekly for so long and yet they still don't choose the characters systematically so they don't get confused about who they've chosen and not.

Yes, "H Star" does stand for "Highway Star". I know this because you played this game, before, but have apparently since suffered matching head wounds and are experiencing all of these characters anew, making all the same observations you did the first time. At least this version has some cool new art tricks, though, like painting over the 3D rendered lady's sprites and putting bugeyes on her hitstun frames. That was more effective than I thought it'd be.
