Saturday Nightlife In Barnsley Town, South Yorkshire, UK in 4K 

I was in Barnsley in 2010. I still remember my cousin said "In Barnley you are called 'love', and they use 'Quid' instead of 'Pound." I spent most of my shopping at Poundland, because I can't find Quidland.

Barnsley has got it spot on. Have a good look Wakefield.

Moved away from Barnsley 10 years ago, lived there 42 years... it seems to have changed a lot!

No sign of cost of living crisis, must be a parallel universe.

All those pubs in first two mins have all closed down .. Used to be the best night out 20 years ago all pubs and clubs close by so good when your a bit tipsy.. It's all barber shops and coffee shops now

Safe enjoyable nights out in tarn up the victorian arcade craft ale pubs and buzzin on wellington street .

Where's Woolworths and Burtons gone? And are the underground toilets still there in Peel Square next to Casa Disco?

used to go there a lot, some old bird on grange lane, propper cider head, LOL shes probably there somwhere scrounging drinks

Imagine walking through those idiots with your kids, drunks all on the pavements and actually blocking the arcade. Nope not for me Barnsley is dead to families and decent shopping these days.
