Guy Garvey is our best lyricist of today. He got me at ‘backed a horse that’s made for glue’ and this is a beautiful cover. Not bad at duets - if not heard it try Kindling with John Grant

Been a fan Nick Drake for decades now this song along with Road and Black Eyed Dog means so much to me in so many ways, also an elbow fan and regular guy listener on 6 music so I was expecting something left field... I'm unsure if this is overdone or if my love of Lisa Hanigans airy version clouds my opinion. It's gonna take some adjusting too ✌️❤️🎶

No freaking video where is it ? does it exist? This course has been great so far then the Guy Gee brought in some unwarranted unwanted synth flurries with distort no sorry exit left or right your choice

I’m not a fan of Guy Garvey or Elbow whatsoever, but I’m enjoying the arrangements on his cover of this track, jazzy, ambient and his vocals suit the style. Well done Guy.
