Tim wrote this before he met his wife. I do love this song and having Avi show up is a plus. Tim and Avi have been friends since Home Free was on the Sing Off. They still keep in touch with each other. I love how close the acapella community is. This song is fire.

This is a Tim original. They filmed this right after Ring of fire with Avi, so he showed up in this one. I think you missed Avi sitting on a mechanical bull in the background at the end of the song. Hilarious! *Extra fun fact: Tim's overalls are the ones Buegs is wearing in the Butts Remix. 😉🥰🥰

I burst out laughing watching you blankly stare into space, completely dumbfounded, when Avi appeared. I wasn't ready for, but loved it, when he did. You should soon react to Home Free singing "Love Train", yet not the live version. Thank you so much for all the laughter and silliness. The world needs more Sauceyness.

Tim has a wicked sense of humor. But he has written a lot of very good serious songs. On the Dive Bar Saints Album he wrote and sings with Chance What Is The World Coming To. A very underrated Home Free video that doesn't get the play it deserves. Home Free has over 140 video's plus their Home Away From Home Videos...that are fantastic!!!

I kept waiting for you to see Avi in the background of the final shot, sitting on the mechanical bull!!! This video was filmed the same day as Ring Of Fire that Avi guested in. In Chris Rupp’s BTS video, Avi was still hanging out, so they decided he’d do this cameo. 😆

Perfect way to start my day! A Sauceydad video reacting to Home Free! This is the song Tim wrote when he was living in California, writing songs for a company. His boss basically told Tim he needed to write country songs so Tim went home, got incredibly drunk and wrote the silliest full on country song he could come up with....thus this gem was created! It is on his solo country album from that time as well, though his whistling is no match for your spirit animals majestic whistling! LOL This video was done during one of Home Free's marathon video recording sessions. It was filmed around the same time as the Ring of Fire video so Avi was around. He heard they were doing another video and wanted to join in. So he claimed the cowboy hat again and popped up a few times....it was his hand putting the champagne flute on the table, he obviously walks through the shot and again, when they are nearing the end of the song, he is sitting majestically on the mechanical bull in the background. He looks like he had so much fun hanging out with the guys! I can't remember if you ever reacted to it but this song has a sequel of sorts, also written by Tim... a Christmas song called "Full of Cheer" If you watch them back to back...you will see what I mean by a sequel. LOL BTW, Chance just dropped a song called "Wayfaring Stranger" with the husband and wife duo, The Hound +The Fox. Then he paired with them for their version of the "Sound Of Silence" I know you haven't reacted to them before but I do think you would love their singing...plus...you have seen them before as they are friends with Home Free and have appeared in a few videos with them. Tim has also collabed with them. They are definitely worth the time to listen.

I've watched this so many times and still laugh at Tim's faces that he pulls. Its amazing to me how many reactors recognize Avi and how many don't either know him or just didn't see him.. This song is from Tim's album pre Home Free, The Best That I Could Do. Another video, House Party has Chance in it before Chris left. Chance and other members of Street Corner Symphony are extras and they even shot it in Chance's apt.

The sequel to this is "Full of Cheer", a very entertaining Christmas song.

That was such a fun video. This is an original song that Tim wrote. These guys know how to have fun without compromising their vocals. Rob is great with his whistling & love Adam's vocal percussion. Fun seeing Avi doing a cameo in this. That is not Tim's wife.

There's a story behind this song that's just as hilarious as the song itself, amazing what a bottle of Jack can create.

Lol. It's been said several times already, bro: Acapella is a very small world. Everyone knows everyone else. Not only that, Avi was in Ring of Fire around the same time, and this was while he was there shooting that video, so why not have him in a second video if he's willing to do a cameo, right? I love Tim's face when Avi photobombs them. First it's "wtf is he doing here", and then with the shrug it's "oh well, never mind". Oh, and SauceyDad, please do not fall from the stairs. If I'm not mistaken, someone correct me if I have it wrong....Tim wrote this under duress from his boss at his job when he lived in Los Angeles for a couple of years....his boss said you need to write country music, and he said he wrote the silliest song he could think of....and then a few years later, Tim had joined Home Free, and they won the Sing-Off and they then made this video....voila LOL

Avi was in the background too on the bull at the end of the video. This vid was done when Tim was still a single man, he didn't marry until 2016. You can see Jenika and Tim when they were engaged in their "Die A Happy Man" video and there are glimpses of her in a few other Home free videos and their tour life/behind scenes series called "Home Away From Home" (episode 7 has Jenika and Nato Potato in it)

One of the best live moments I've experienced at one of their shows was they did this in London, UK and Tim was super surprised that we knew it and sang along with it, we even sang along with the background. My understanding is that we sing along a lot more here Europe than they do in the US so even though they'd done it so many times before he had never really experienced an audience knowing his original.

The lady in this video is NOT his wife! Tim was not married when they sang this. A few years ago, Tim married Jenika Marion (probably spelled her name wrong)! She is a natural beauty that never needs any make up whatsoever!!! They appear to make a lovely couple and their personalities seem to compliment each other! Hahaha… this is such a good one. What’s funny is that his boss (at the time in LA) wanted Tim to write only country songs and Tim didn’t want to just write country. He got drunk and wrote this that night and it’s been his most successful song. Too funny. Love the lyrics and the video. Home Free had done the video/song Ring of Fire with Avi and asked him to do a cameo in this one while he was there. Just love it. I don’t think that’s Jenika in the video. Another moment that many of us have been waiting for! Avi was still hanging around after he filmed Ring of Fire so why not give him a cameo in Champagne Taste. The cowboy hat Avi is wearing belonged to Chris Rupp. It’s the same one he puts on at end of the song. Home Free actually auctioned that hat off for a charity and it sold for around $1000.

Tim wrote this song back in his early days when he was a "contract" song writer, and was obliged to write a "C/W song". He wrote this as much as a satire of all things C/W to get it out of the way, and lo and behold, it turned out to be a hit for Home Free.
