Speed 3 and Pro 3 looking like an amazing two shoe rotation! Can't wait to upgrade from the Speed 2 and Pr0 2. Especially since the fit has improved and gotten a little wider which was is only real main issue with the Pro 2 particularly. And the fact that the Pro 3 Has gotten even more comfier is a big win for me as well! Well done Saucony!!!
Saucony have really stepped up lately. The Tempest works brilliantly for me when I’m tired and need a bit of stability. I’m a huge Alphafly fan even for 5ks I don’t get on at all in the Vaporfly. I’m tempted trying the Pro 3 but might wait a while as I SO many shoes!
I've got mine (in white, much better!) for the Amsterdam Marathon - going to take them out for the first time tomorrow - really looking forward to it now!
I’ve been out this morning - really enjoyable shoe, sure it’s going to be a great choice for the Marathon. It’s not really much like the Pro 2 at all, totally fresh feel. I get what you’re saying about it sitting between the different super shoes out there. So I guess if you can’t decide if you’re a cadence runner or stride runner you probably won’t go wrong in the Pro 3

Tom....one thing to consider re the Pro3 for Chicago..I did my 1st run in them today and they are great....very comfy, probably most comfy of all the "supershoes" except the NB RC elite V2 (but not much give back with that one...just super soft and comfy though I found)...... One area that you in the UK may not have had yet with the heatwave, is there was a bit of surface water on my run today and the outsole felt it was not very grippy (maybe this was just the sole needed bedding in, but felt like I was running on a layer of oil at first) and the shoe holds water spray quite easily...my socks were wet in no time and there was a squelchy feeling and sound when running....not one I'd pick for wet days.....a dry day in NYC in November and I'm using it!...Rain and it'll be the Nike AFN%2

Finally picked up a pair of these cheap after keeping an eye out all year! Tackling my first marathon at the end of April and I'm thinking they are gonna be perfect! I like the Vaporfly 2, but can't see me doing a marathon in them.
I have the Speed 3 and had the Pro3. Pro3 much softer and WIDER. I have wide feet (2E) and this shoe is perfect. The Speed 3 falls a bit small so might need to go half a size up despite having the same length insole as the Speed 2... So it must be the upper which is tight and not for wide feet..
@@notall1196 I have a few runs in the Speed 3 now and the sizing is the same as the Speed 2. It just needed a couple of runs to fit better. If you are OK with the V2 you will be happy with the V3 regarding the fit. Especially excellent heel lock down. But if the Speed 2 is narrow for you go with the Pro3 in TTS as Pro 3 are wider!
I purchased the Endorphin Pro 3 and will run Berlin Marathon with em. Had the Alphafly v1 and I feel the Endorphin Pro 3 is the most 'forgiving' and overall most versatile and controllable shoe. The Alphafly is too unstable and it shoed significant tear after just 50k of breaking it in. Also, it is heavier as the EP3. I ran a Marathon last year in the Endorphin Speed 2 which was fun, however, they are fairly unstable which came into play after 30km onwards. As of now I'm still using the Endorphin Speed 2 for Tempo Workouts, Intervals and 10k/HM races, however, I am looking forward to replace it entirely with the EP3 after Berlin since I feel the EP3 is a swiss army knife and should hold up 650km
@@gillbla You are not in a minority , many people have said the same. All in all differences in performance will be minimal between these 'supershoes' and eventually it comes down to personal preference in terms of comfort, feel etc.
Hi guys! First: I really appreciate your work and your channel has become my go to source for running gear info! Second: Off-topic, but what do you think of Garmin's integration of running power? I don't mean Stryd but their own pod and hrms with running dynamics and power. Is there any value in the way they present the data? Can you for example utilise it in daily suggestions or Garmin Coach running programmes instead of heart rate or pace zones? Keep up the great work! :)
Ladies and gents, I'm making the rounds on RU-vid to herald the awesome feeling of the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 after initial slip-on! I've been looking for a proper successor to my Asics Metaspeed Sky and I've found it! I wanted the bounce and higher drop than the Sky and I had hoped it would have been the Edge+. Feels like the perfect 1-2 pairing with my OG Speed
Just finished my first run in them, absolutely equal to my Nike Alpha V1. Loved them,really comfortable. And great grip simply tread to the Reebok Floatride Pro 2 which I use off-road because of the grip. Better than my Asics Metaspeed Sky and Adidas Adizero Pro 3 (too harsh).
Tom.....Are you going to wear the Pro3 at Chicago?........what do you reckon the benefits for you will be over the Vaporfly/Alphafly and the NB RC elite V2 for Chicago?
Either the Pro 3 or the Alphafly. They're quite similar but I like the balance of comfort and bounce for long distance in the Pro 3. Feels more stable than the Vaporfly. I've got a 10 mile race in the Pro 3 this weekend, so will see how it feels for that.
So you'd say these are softer than the Vaporflys? Must confess I definitely prefer the Alphafly V1 to the Vaporfly V2. Vaporflys are great shoes, don't feel as springy or bouncy as the Alphaflys, but you look at your times when running in them compared to any other shoe (other than the Alphafly) and you think "OK, yeah, these are quick shoes".
The Pro 3 has better grip than past versions I (Nick) would say, the outsole has been redesigned a bit and performs better in the wet. It's about in line with most brands, though Puma's super-shoes are better on this front.
Is it a lot less stable than the speed 3? Does it feel very stiff compared to the speed 3? Is the speed 3 better at slower paces or worse? I definitely dislike the Barbie Princess colourway. Thanks
Good morning. I know I'm really late here but I have a question regarding the fit and the size. Until now I've been a Nike guy and I've had a pair of Asics Noosa Tri also. In Nike, I wear a 9US for all the Pegasus I've had but in my Vaporfly (4% and Next v2) I've always gone half a size up to 9,5US. The Asics I have are also 9US. What size would you recommend? ) or 9,5?

Hi everyone. I have slightly wider feet. I currently own the endorphin shift 3 in 8.5 which feels a bit snug, and the endorphin speed 3 in 8.5 too which fits perfectly. Now I want to order a pair of Pro 3s but I have read some people saying that it is better to size up half a size, but some others say it fits true to size. So I am not sure if I should go for a 9 or stick to my usual 8.5 (US). If there is anyone here who owns the endorphin 3 lineup and has slightly wider feet I would appreciate your comments please! I'd say the Pro 3 (Tom) because it's a bit bouncier and feels more efficient. But that's down to taste. Some people may want something a bit firmer and the Adidas Pro 3 is a great long distance shoe.
