Old landmarks is not as important to any Muslims and the holy Mosque it self old makkah is already gone to be a part of the the Mosque . Any Muslim would be happy to give away as charity his land in makkah to be included in the Holy Mosque.
Historical buildings are important for the knowledge of our children and grandchildren in the future.. Seeing historical buildings during the time of the Prophet is better than seeing luxurious buildings/old landmark because all of that reduces sacredness.
This video has me thinking…especially with what’s going on in Las Vegas. Saudi Arabia is the New Las Vegas. They are prioritizing 5 star luxury hotels while Las Vegas is dependent upon sports now?
I agree. Am I missing something here? " _Enjoy_ views into each other's rooms?" Regarding the "Don't worry" comment: again, am I missing sthg? I don't wish to cast aspersions, but no matter how polite and respectful a person is, there's no gainsaying the accidental glimpse of a neighbouring guest doing the myriad things we humans do in private. Things that we would be seriously upset about if in public. You know, from the innocuous scratch right down to whatever unsavouriness (un)imaginable. Finally, devout we may well strive to be and our gaze we would avert, but what about the children? They should be protected from catching sight of all sorts of things, even before we get to rules about them and the opposite sex. It's a minefield!
my honest comy honest comments is that the whole structure itself seems to be very similar to most grand hotels aroudn th world and also the feeling of staying in this place is kid of similar , people generally wants unique and most importantly pratical designs. Wish they can come up with futuristic designs with mix of the old world style. Still i enjoyed and learned about this place , thanks ! 🤳
