I am a Syrian by nationality, I lived in this country from 2009 to 2022, God perpetuates security and safety on the land of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudis are one of the kindest peoples .
Hello, my name is dolmacy .I am from India, but now I am working 10 years. Saudi arabia . Saudi Arab most beautiful country. Saudi people so nice and wonderful hospitality...Welcome to Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 ❤ 🇮🇳 🙏🙏🙏 long live relationship
As a Saudi woman.. I’m really grateful for the new changes in my country and I wish more people can see it and be happy for us instead of bringing the past and thank you so much for this video 🇸🇦❤️❤️
Wow such a hospitable country, we have recently established diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia, and there are already direct flights. I would love to visit and explore the culture & sceneries, also happy that women feel quite comfortable there.
I lived in UAE and they are so Paranoid and are like cats. In Saudi the people are 100% more genuine and they are not paranoid a bit. It's refreshing you don't even need booze.
Foreigners are definitely welcome and i just wanted to clarify there are no issues to interact with men as long as it is respectful, it is something to do with our values and beliefs which is totally understandable if other countries don’t seem to understand
I am Saudi and the life in Ksa have always been easy to interact with men even tho no Saudi girl cares about men it depends on your family what is their thoughts about women I have always been and I will always be treated well by everyone 🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦
@@Tmes-wd8sc The sale of alcohol used to be legal in the kingdom before 1952. However, it was totally banned by King Ibn Saud since 1952. In 2024, the regulation was reversed when it was announced that an alcohol shop will be opened in Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh
Mother fucker what happen? 😡😡 Saudi government should ban photography, vloging inside haram please.. Should heavy fine on photography inside haram..kaba is the holy place not for the fun vloging, reels and photos
I don’t know why they’re extremely obsessed with females and males interacting and not getting separated at all as if a female is desperate and haven’t seen a single male in her entire life and vice versa , stop trying to change us just to meet your interests
Why do some Western tourists keep emphasizing that drinks in Saudi Arabia are non-alcoholic, as if their countries only serve alcoholic beverages, and they visit here solely for that purpose? Did they not read about the Saudi culture before arriving? It's amusing how some seem shocked by the absence of alcohol in regular drink menus. Were they expecting alcoholic options in a normal beverage menu. If the table has non alcoholic menu so it means no alcohol is served. Alcohol is only served if the table has alcoholic menu lol. I think most restaurants have separate alcohol menus if I’m wrong correct me.
Yes, that's right! It's strange that everyone feels strange because there is no alcohol in Saudi Arabia, although this is known for a very long time. Thanks for your clarification
@@Hongjoong_98 yes as you noticed when he emphasizes "the non-alcoholic" drink, it feels like he's implying that drinking alcohol is the norm, which can be misleading, especially for young kids. Saying "why Margarita is non-alcoholic" may suggest that it's strange for a country not to have alcohol. Since you're showcasing Saudi Arabia, please refrain from subtly insinuating that it's unusual for a country to offer non-alcoholic beverages. While mature individuals may understand the intended meaning, younger kids and less mature adults may find it perplexing. Using phrases like "the non-alcoholic" followed by "wow, I like it" may cover up the underlying message, but it can still be misleading. My message to him is: “Let's respect everyone's understanding and avoid any subtle implications that could be misinterpreted as a sneaky tactic against Saudi Arabia.”
@@mohammadalmajid6599 It's common sense that a standard menu worldwide doesn't include alcohol. Alcohol is typically listed separately on its own menu. Have you ever been to a restaurant that presents two menus-one for food and non-alcoholic beverages, and another for alcoholic drinks? This separation helps customers know exactly what they're ordering. No one orders a drink without knowing what's in it. Don't justify their behavior. You're genuinely innocent, and their intention is to manipulate innocent people like you into thinking they're merely curious.
@@AuraGolden7Being from the uk and having visited America, the Caribbean and Europe where alcohol is everywhere, yes it will be unusual for us westerners to be in a country that has no alcohol. When most of us Brits travel abroad, we like to drink cocktails and have a glass of wine/beer with our meals.
This is a really nice video you guys! It's great to hear a female perspective about the opportunities opening up for women throughout society in Saudi Arabia. Thank you for the video! Now, I can't wait to watch the rest of the series to see if Matt took Molly out to a fancy restaurant 😅 Cheers guys!
most of them are not. these are just westerners paid a fat sum of $ by the saudi government to show saudi is some progressive state instead of the state that kills anyone who speak out or some backward dictatorship
Bruh fr like westerns wanna change everyone to meet their own interests and its annoying , we don’t have to be like you to make you like us , everyone is unique in his way 😕😕😕
Im a Muslim convert. I stopped listening to music because its 100% forbidden by wll Islamic schools of thought. So why is Saudi big on music now? Someone explain?
The unfortunate westernaization of the kingdom of saudi Arabia. Some people hold on to their principles and religion. Others sadly get swayed towards the "better lifestyle of the west". Unfortunately many people don't seem to realise that the "better Western lifestyle" shouldn't be admired because actually it is a failed society. High rates of alcoholism, drugs, crime, broken families, prostitution are not results of a high value society. Stay strong on your religion my brother/sister, God tests his servants in different ways to reveal those who truly belive in his religion and those who deceive.
Music is not forbidden in Islam. It depends of the content (lyrics about apology to drugs, illicit sex, crime will be obviously haram). There are many Muslim artists from Morocco to Lebanon, Turkey etc..
@@AfmJr94 Allah says in Surah Luqman (interpretation of the meaning): “And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing) to mislead (men) from the path of Allah…” [Luqman 31:6] The scholar of the ummah, Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: this means singing . Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: this means playing the drum (tabl). (Tafsir al-Tabari, 21/40) Al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: this ayah was revealed concerning singing and musical instruments (lit. woodwind instruments). (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 3/451) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Among my ummah there will certainly be people who permit zina, silk, alcohol and musical instruments…” (Narrated by al-Bukhari ta’liqan, no. 5590; narrated as mawsul by al-Tabarani and al-Bayhaqi. See al-Silsilah al-Sahihah by al-Albani, 91) Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This is a sahih hadith narrated by al-Bukhari in his Saheeh, where he quoted it as evidence and stated that it is mu’allaq and majzum. He said: Chapter on what was narrated concerning those who permit alcohol and call it by another name. This hadith indicates in two ways that musical instruments and enjoyment of listening to music are haram. The first is the fact that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “[they] permit” which clearly indicates that the things mentioned, including musical instruments, are haram according to shari’ah, but those people will permit them. The second is the fact that musical instruments are mentioned alongside things which are definitely known to be haram, i.e., zina and alcohol: if they (musical instruments) were not haram, why would they be mentioned alongside these things? (adapted from al-Silsilah al-Sahihah by al-Albani, 1/140-141) Shaykh al-Islam (Ibn Taymiyah) (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This hadith indicates that ma’azif are haram, and ma’azif means musical instruments according to the scholars of (Arabic) language. This word includes all such instruments. (al-Majmu’, 11/535). Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: And concerning the same topic similar comments were narrated from Sahl ibn Sa’d al-Sa’idi, ‘Imran ibn Husayn, ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Amr, ‘Abd-Allah ibn 'Abbas, Abu Hurayrah, Abu Umamah al-Bahili, ‘Aishah Umm al-Mu’minin, ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, Anas ibn Malik, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Sabit and al-Ghazi ibn Rabi'ah. Then he mentioned it in Ighathat al-Lahfan, and it indicates that they (musical instruments) are haram.
I'm in a relationship with someone that lives in Saudi Arabia and he wanted me to come visit. This video helped me feel a lot better about it. With regard to separated families in the restaurant, there is no law to force the owner to have mixed men and women ! It is all up to the owner whether he wants to have his restaurant mixed or separated. In small city people are considered conservative and that’s why you don’t see mixed restaurants as many as in Riyadh, Jeddah.. etc
Great vid 👍Very informative and interesting to see how nightlife is like in Saudi 🎶I see that Matt doesnt cover his tattoos and short sleeves are ok - Wondering if it is the same for women ?

For your information, no one can change the culture of a people deeply connected to their religion. Whoever says that we will become like the West in the future is very wrong. The Saudis are very religious even if they do not show it, and some of the liberal Saudis you meet do not even represent only 5%. Try insulting a religious symbol like the character of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And you will know what I mean: it is a great country and great people
Wow beautiful saudi race and beautiful country. World wonder of isreali American saudi and example of their friendship. Saudi Arab is full package of tourism.
No, even in riyadh women are mostly covered, but this place attracts mostly the materialistic trash of the society and their from all over saudi not just riyadh and a lot of them are from other countries too because it’s the capital.
I didn't realize how restrictive it was in that country till I saw some videos of people doing normal things that they couldn't do before and not even starting with the women cuz that's a whole thing of its own but it's good that they are granted more freedom
Saudi and other gulf states are safe and “successful” because they have a culture and follow traditional values. I’m worried that if they keep adopting western liberal values their society will become like the US and collapse and regress.
People need to understand this , countries become successful in their own way , but the usa is occupying countries either physically or intellectually by changing them to suit their own interests
We do not have a problem with tourists or foreigners in Saudi Arabia Just respect the culture and society! Do not speak badly about religion or the country and no one will care what you do.
