@@christophertubigan2060 how about the other 50 or so? GGG make a decent opponent or is he the same as Hatton? I mean Canelo was 20 here, obviously a veteran that should have only been fighting the best, he could almost buy a beer at this age ffs
@@Ballinbmac ? Ah Ali was a master boxer but his style was base on Head Hunting he almost never hit to the body, and a generation of boxer tried to copy his style.
eh, i would say that vasyl can tie some of the best combos i've ever seen together- seeing him woop pedraza in round 11 (check that one out of you haven't watched it) for almost a minute straight... was gorgeous, i go and watch it again and again
Gustavo Gonzalez they did get it wrong but canelo career is just one controversy after another the gift decisions in the lara fight where canelo got out landed by lara he was also out punched and out landed by GGG in both fights and he was out punched and out landed by trout and of course the steroids abuse but canelo is a great fighter and the only way you beat canelo now is by ko because he is to much of a superstar GGG battered canelo for 8 or 9 rounds of the first fight and it still wasn't enough
At 36:17 Hatton starts to hold and punch Alvarez. Alvarez throws a punch in response, and the ref chides Alvarez instead of warning Hatton for holding and hitting. And on top of that, gives Hatton extra time when Alvarez hits him as Hatton finally lets go, AND takes a point away from Alvarez. What a horrible ref. The ref should have been fired.
All I can say is Canelo has got to be one of the best ever! Great defense, can take hard punches, tremendous punching power. Over all phenomenal ring savvy. Could use more stamina in late rounds. But Man is he good. One of a kind.
Just A Fucking Bread - yeah, I guess you’re right. He probably conserves his energy. But to me that’s part of his great ring savvy. I’ve watched almost all of triple G fights. He knocked out like 95%. But none of his punches gave Canelo trouble. Well maybe one did but it’s effect didn’t last long.
Peter Florino Yeah and the guys a freaking Amazing counter puncher! What a combo! Not to to mention those upperbody movement and that thunderous left hook!
Good fighter! I thought he lost to Lara and obviously lost to floyd. He is a very good fighter though. I want to see him inprove with boxers who move. Even in the 2nd Golovkin fight, when he moved he gave canelo issues
damn... youve got Shakur, Tank, Ryan, Haney right now who are coming up and they are already in their mid 20s.. canelo is barely 20 right here and hes much bigger than the guys i mentioned are right now.... says alot
So what did the ref do wrong? He is the type of ref all fighters love. He doesn't get involved until he absolutely has to. He lets the fighters fight. Fighters do not like refs that are hands on all the time. You are wrong this guy is a very good ref.
Hatton: *clenches and throws cheap shots* Alvarez: *hits him right after each time* Hatton: *walks away perfectly fine then leans on the ropes on the ground* The ref: *is there for basically no reason other than preventing hatton from putting alvarez in a choke hold*
lol matty hatton, lil bro of ricky hatton looks like a vampire, hasnt seen a day of sun, im from uk too but damn im not that pastey ffs, we do get sun lol,, canelo is my favourite boxer.
Hatton was tough but had no answer for Canelo’s power. He absorbed a lot of punches and kept trying to the final bell. Hatton has heart and courage and he gets the boxing Oscar for acting.
Hahaha! Hatton's corner would keep telling him, ' don't go macho, don't go macho' that was good advice. 'cause if he had gone macho' he had ended up on the floor since round 6..
This shows the promoters vision of boxing. Hatton had no business in the ring with Canelo and it wasn’t Canelo’s fault. He fights who they put in there with him. I have to give Hatton his profs, he has one of the best chins I’ve ever seen and he had to be in top shape to shake off Canelo’s body shots, which were vicious. Hatton had courage and heart, no quit in the man. He’s a pretty good actor too. Still, I don’t think I would want, I can take a serious beating for 12 rounds, as my legacy.
@@Brawling_StyleNo, That's no difference to street fighting? Hatton is a street fighter from the streets of Manchester FFS. There is no room for dirty fighters in Pro boxing.
Canelo ' is his nickname do to , his cinnamon colored hair mustache .. of course canela wouldnt sound right .., Canelito , Canelita ETC , if you cant relate , You must not be raza or Hispano you baboso !!
Canelo means cinnamon but in the masculine sense just like rojo which means red is masculine and roja is feminine but it still means the same=Red. He is given this nickname as a Spanish custom to call reddish haired people but it resembles the color of cinnamon.
Ref is traaaaash!!! He telling them to separate?! Lol you suppose to move them, he don’t have on no gloves for sanitary reasons he in the way, he missing holds and cheap shots
Fair play to Hatton hanging on in their. Clearly wasnt as powerfull and as technical as Alvarez tho, Alvarez is a beast when he puts combinations together...on anouther note the commentator kinda sounds like Samuel L. Jackson lol
the referee is one of the laziest i have ever seen, wtf is he doing in that ring keeps saying let hi go instead of stepping in and break the fighters. So irritating to watch
OMG you know nothing about boxing. A good ref does exactly what this ref did. Only get involved when he had to to. Ask any boxer and they will tell you that a ref should stay in the background and allow fighters to fight. That's what he did. He was calm and talked to the fighters to not hold to break etc. He didn't rush in there and push on the fighters. He didn't spend 10 minutes jumping on Hatton for the low blow or Canelo for hitting on the break. He made Hatton get up and fight. That is a fighters ref. The bout is about the fighters and that's where the focus needs to be and not on the ref.
As many wins as Saul Alvarez (Canelo) has had, most of his opponents were very tough and seasoned competitors. I can only think of a couple that were push-overs!
Disculpa, puedes poner resumen únicamente, más de una hora de pelea cuando puedes en siete u ocho minutos resumir la pelea, pues no los entiendo y mucho menos los apruebo es sus comentarios, siempre directo a la acción principal ...saludos
Canelo's boxing style reminds me a lot of Miguel Cotto but with a lil better Defensive ability. A Boxer puncher who breaks down his opponents slowly and confidently with the Power to Finish them.
