in Germany there is a song "Alles hat ein Ende, nur die Wurst hat zwei" ("Everything has an end, only the sausage has two"). I had to think of that with the intro :) Great video. Best greatings from Germany
Uri! I love your content! I'm always entertained by it and anticipate greatly your next upload! A little over two years ago, my then girlfriend introduced me to your content, and I instantly subscribed. We married last year, and for that reason, you have lost a singular view count... Not because of any flaw in your content, but because we both love watching you together, usually solely on her account because we like to watch you together. For some reason, you saying you're making sausages made me realize this, and I felt obligated to explain the absence of my account from your view counts. Please keep up the excellent work! You brighten our moods when we see you in our boxes. Thank you for all you do!
There's a simple way to tell the handles look more like sausages or balloons. Twist the into animal shapes. The balloon handles will definitely look like the animals.
Uri you never fail to entertain. I chuckle every video. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that just pauses sometimes because the brain has suddenly just.... anyway, thanks this was much fun as always.
You know who else liked the aesthetics of sausages? Pieter Aertsen, so you’re in good company. Although it would make some outstanding last words as well.
Love the channel! Just a few turning tips though. Slower speed when youre using a cutter with large amounts of engagement to the material (form tools). Wd-40 works great as a lubricant for cutting aluminum and try looking into how to grind a "vertical sheer" lathe tool. Theyre pretty easy to make and great for good surface finishes on almost any material. Thanks for all the content!
Today I discovered my rescue dog isn't a Yorkie, but a "Dorkie" - half Yorkie, half Dachshund or Weiner dog - on the same day I discovered this sausage video. This all made more sense when I started writing... Anyway, how I found your channel I have no idea which is even better. It all started with the upside down pigeon , OH I REMEMBER NOW! I WAS LOOKING FOR BELT BUCKLE TUTORIALS! Haaaaaa!!! Oh thank God! Maybe things are gonna work out after all!!! Love all your stuff and all your subscribers' comments! Great stuff in a crazy world 🌎 !!! Peace Please!!!✌️
When I saw the title I thought I woke up to a bizarre world where Uri did a collaboration with Ordinary Sausage. Still very happy with the end result. Keep up the great work
I am also definitely fond of sausages, specially german ones. I invite Uri to organaize a sausage meeting at home with the most enthusiast sausage lovers betwen his followers in order to interchange some ideas on the subject and to compare dimensions, forms and tastes, it would be just lovely.
The small torch you used to bend the aluminum sausage is actually plenty strong - it just takes a surprising amount of time to get it going, its really unintuitive - I've had the same problem when bending thick aluminum into bracelets using a similarly sized propane torch.
Turning metal freehand on a metal lathe must be so satisfying. I really must try myself. Thank you so much for yet another entertaining and informative video. You are the master. 👌👏👏👍😀
The cool thing about the aluminum ones looking like long balloons means maybe that can inspire you to make a Ballon animal tool next time using aluminum or the equivalent size brass for some weird niche need you have in the shop who knows where inspiration will take you next good video uri
Mostly off topic. Get yourself some barrier cream, makes getting the metal staining off as easy as rinsing your hands. What a beautiful sausage you have sir.
Let me contribute to this the old German saying (also a song): „Alles hat ein Ende, nur die Wurst hat zwei.“ (Everything has and end, but the sausage has two)
Maybe if you try making little hot-dog-bread shaped addons with different types of wood for the sausage shaped handles, they look more sausage-ish. This, of course, in detriment of making the final product look like some kind of steampunk hot dog instead of metallic sausages, but hey, sometimes you can't have everything.
