KAY'S COOKING BINGO: "Hi people, and I'm back cooking again..." (either happy or blue depending on era) Ingredients are a variation of: marge, heggs, mince meat, chicken, spudtaters, carriots, peas, frozen honions, lazy garlic, passata (aka pasta, aka tomeatos, aka juice), gravy granules and lots of flour. Ingredients to spice things up: salty salty, pepier, soya sauce, peppers, mushyrooms. Concern for Kay's fingers during cutting. Concern for various hygienic choices. Irritation that Kay still hasn't learned some basics of cooking. Love for Kay because she is who she is. Starting cooking in cold pans. Boiling the mince meat. "Get off (my Oofa Doofa)" "Ouch" "Lee can't have cheese" Lee either mumbling behind camera or screaming while playing games in another room (depending on era) "You kick that camera Kay, I'll take it off you" The food is either undercooked or burnt. The deep fryer still hasn't been cleaned. Kay can't remember the "Please subscribe"-outro "Kay/Lee says it was nice" Some gorgeous dimple-action. Samsung notification sound.
HIIIII KAY!!!! I was reading the comments, and saw the recipe comments and decided to add my own. Here's a Texas recipe for you! Chicken fried steak!! Chicken fried steak: What ya need: 4 cube steaks (one for each of your diners) 1⁄3 cup flour salt and pepper 1⁄4 cup milk 1 egg, beaten 1 1⁄4 cups dry bread, crumbs (panko may be used) 1⁄3 cup salad oil Steps: Mix the flour, salt and pepper together in a bowl; I use soup bowls. You may measure these, as I do, Rachael Ray style ~ in other words I eyeball the amounts. In a second bowl. whisk together the milk and egg until lemon colored. I a third bowl, add the dry bread crumbs. Line the bowls up assemble-line style. Dredge the meat in the seasoned flour, knocking off excess. Dip floured meat in the egg and milk mixture, coating well. Then dredge in the bread crumbs, again, coating well. Heat a cast-iron skillet (traditional but your own skillet will work) over medium-high heat. Add oil. When oil is hot enough to spit back at you if you sprinkle water on it, add meat and brown 2-1/2 minutes per side for rare, 4 minutes per side for medium and 6 minutes per side for well-done. Turn only once. As you see, this goes fast and the meat requires your full attention while cooking. Remove meat to a serving dish and keep warm. It's usually served with gravy and mashed potatoes. Much love from Texas!
Hey Kay! I've really been enjoying the videos!! My grandma used to make the best Spaghetti when we were growing up! Here is her recipe if you would like to give it a try! Grandma Green's Famous Spaghetti Ingredients: 1 Package uncooked spaghetti 1 can of tuna in water (don’t drain it) 2 cups of milk 1 cup of ketchup (or more, depending on taste) 2 hard-boiled eggs 1 cup of instant mashed potatoes (for texture) 1 cup of shredded American cheese (don't worry about melting) 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise (for flavor depth) Salt (a handful) Instructions: Boil the spaghetti until soft and mushy No need to strain all the water-leave some. While the spaghetti cooks, mix the tuna (including the water) with the milk and ketchup in a bowl. It should resemble a pinkish liquid. Toss in your whole hard-boiled eggs. Mix in the instant mashed potatoes. No need to prepare them-just throw in the powder. Once the spaghetti is finished, dump it into the tuna-ketchup mixture and stir aggressively. Pour everything into a casserole dish. Sprinkle American cheese on top. Bake the entire dish for 10-20 minutes Enjoy!!
I've just realised the sausages are supposed to be frozen ones , they say cook from frozen on the front, but they were soft and able to be cut with scissors, definitely not frozen 🤢

Kay, it’s always nice to see you cooking. Could you please show us round your kitchen. And the various kitchen gadgets you use. Have you an air fryer as you could do a meal using your fryer. Still waiting on your cook book. It would make a fab Xmas present.
My grandma was an amazing cook. Made from scratch and all 5 star rated; bread, pot roast, apple pie, apple crisp, bread pudding, rice pudding, and much much more. Thanks to my grandma, my mom was a great cook too, but we were typically very budget limited. I wish they were still around. 😢
