Merci beaucoup to share with us on youtube these wines. Today had a 2020 « Cloudy Bay », absolute wonderful discovery at this price point. Again un grand merci from Jan in Seattle.

Amazingly I have had all of these wines and a couple only recently. I agreed with all of the comments which is amazing as I'm not a connoisseur like these gentlemen. The only one I couldn't agree on is the Cono Sur wine, but it has been years since I tried it. Might have to revisit it.
Wonderful video as always, and this time with 日本語 subtitle with Kansai dialect! Now I know which Sauvignon Blanc bottle to buy in my next wine shopping day.
I just drank an Austrian Sauvignon Blanc from Steiermark and it was the best wine of this grape variety that I ever tasted. Weingut Tement - Ried Zieregg 2017. But sadly it costs €50 .
I was just going to say that some of the Austrian Sauvignon Blanc from the Weinviertel are getting really, really good. Last year Praschinger in Enzersfeld made a really good one. With notes of bell peppers, citrus, and wild flowers. His wines are usually good, and the price/quality is hard to beat. I had an expensive Sancerre and it was not as good as the Austrian one. 9.20 Euro!
That's a ridiculous statement. Find me a Aus/NZ estate more consistent and premium than Kanonkop. Penfolds is overprice and too hit and miss@@ToldoMexes
At home self-isolating myself with a cough and this is just what I need. I could watch your videos all day :) Thanks for the knowledge-sharing and consistency in uploads. If you have time to answer a small question I'd be more than happy, if not it's no worries. I am thinking of buying a 1st growth left bank bordeaux, never tasted the 1st growths. I like complexity - which one would you drink young? I.e. around 10 years of bottle age. Any recommendation would be appreciated.
Very educational! I recently tried a New Zealand SB and it was pleasant, if uninteresteing, I think I paid $8. Happy to hear that for a couple more dollars a bottle, I can find something more interesting and complex! Looking forward to the raw fish next episode!
I love the education provided by the wine experts Jae Hyoung Lee, Patrick Farrell, M.D., Master of Wine, and Peter Koff, Master of Wine. Amazing. Thank you very much!!!
I love Bordeaux blanc when it has more body. I had a Bordeaux blanc recently that had some steely character and a lighter body than I wanted. I also love New New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with its cilantro and jalapeño aromas and flavors, Pouilly-Fume for its crisp refreshing mouthfeel, and the bigger bodied oaked Napa Valley Sauvignon Blancs.
