I have a cousin who’s allergic to nuts, and my best friend is lactose intolerant. I’m not a doctor or even majoring in medical care, but zi know enough to say that food allergies and COVID are all very real and not anything to be taken lightly.

I've been a babysitter long enough to know that to follow the rules and to never lie there are reasons why these parents set these rules for babysitters I will admit it I never took any babysitting classes I had to learn by doing on my own that is how I learned and I'm glad in the end of this video her babysitting instincts kicked in and the boy was safe but she shouldn't have done that in the first place by the way love the video.😀

Something like this happened to me once. I was with my dad, who refuses to accept I'm allergic to not only gluten, but dairy and corn too. He may not have force-fed me but he brought me over to Shari's and made me eat a chocolate cake I was allergic to and I did it just so he would shut up and get off my back. I asked my dad to take me home immediately that day and I felt horrible for several days, maybe weeks. I felt unhappy, unwell and at one point I thought I was going to pass out! He still refuses to accept my allergies and even once complained and ranted about running around looking for a place with food I can eat, saying a word I won't repeat.

Hey Sameer, you really shouldn’t conflate allergies with intolerances. If the boy truly had a gluten ALLERGY like the title suggests, then his immediate rolling-on-the-floor reaction would necessitate a trip to the ER, or at least a dose from an Epipen. Based on the fact he didn’t, y’know, DIE, I’m assuming he does not have a gluten allergy - and instead has an intolerance. In this case, his reaction would not be immediate. He might be rolling around with stomach pains, but it’d likely be 30 min to a few hours (or even many hours) later.

Great video, Sameer! I completely agree that we should all learn to try to respect differences in diet & food choices. Many people suffer from allergies & intolerance, plus some prefer not to eat certain foods, due to religious or cultural beliefs also. Some have serious trouble from things such as nuts, dairy, gluten, meat, etc. & much more! Just because you may not understand or agree with someone's food choices or way of eating, doesn't mean you have to be disrespectful or rude about it. To each his/her own! It's a personal preference, everyone's different & should be allowed to eat whatever they'd like.
