This boat is a ton of fun and also super challenging. As you can see in the video there were a couple times where the kayak did things I did not intend. I call that limited skill meeting a demanding boat.
I wish I could post a picture to here and it would be easier to see. Clamped it to 2 pieces of flat steel at different angles and heated it from under neither. That gave it kick rocker and a semi planing hull. squashed the stern a lot. Bent the nose up a little which gave it more rocker.
take the foam pillar out, trim it down and put it back in, heat up the plastic, clamp it down or drive on it and have fun. I need to do a video of the process one of these days because I have squashed about 5 boats now.
with the modifications it has much less volume especially in the bow. The 303 is way easier to paddle and similar difficulty to squirt. I think this is faster though, maybe not if the 303 is on plane. hard to tell
