Maybe use a instant coffee powder instead espresso, plus that liquid, and you can practice latte art without wasting too much money. Definitely less stress required, since you not spending too much.

this just my opinion by my experience, i using dishwash soap in my country and a food coloring, i know the texture not perfect but when i can practice much better using dishwash soap, i can do much better in milk. and i a little bit sad when a coffe just being waste, but it will be back to personal reference. sorry if my english so bad -_- but i like ur video dude so much infomation ! ! !

most people maybe doesn't understand several things: 1. how many cup you have to waste from perfecting latte art. 2. most country doesn't have cheap freshmilk. 3. you can buy cheap robusta espresso for practice. great crema. hard to subtitute. 4. there are a lot of handwash that could replicate milk foam. but maybe this product could save their time instead looking for best handwash in the market.

You can also jsut use cocoa powder or the cheapest instant coffee you can find... The crema Is not the same but the practice Is the same. It will only look better when you actually do it with crema.

I have tried using the BCB. I can make nice tulips but almost impossible to make Rosetta or wiggling movement. I believe the BCB texture is different from milk.

just take a drop of soap, works just as well. also you can use food coloring to repreduce the coffee

So to save money on coffee, you make your coffee undrinkable. Ok, makes perfect sense
@CoffeetoArt
@CoffeetoArt 2 года назад
Dude. To save on latte art training... whats your point?
@skeetsmcgrew3282
@skeetsmcgrew3282 2 года назад
@@CoffeetoArt My point is this is disgustingly wasteful. If you were showing a replacement for coffee that was cheap and preferably not food as well, fine. But this just encourages you to maximize throwing coffee down the drain. All so you can get a drink to look pretty for 30 seconds before its ruined by drinking it. I guess I never figured people were making dozens of lattes and just pouring them down the sink. Maybe Im not pissed at your idea as much as the industry in general
@CoffeetoArt
@CoffeetoArt 2 года назад
@@skeetsmcgrew3282 well, there's competition of any kind and latte art is one of them. You can replace espresso shot by something else. I don't understand why you so mad about latte art.
@DimitrisKanakis
@DimitrisKanakis 2 года назад
@@CoffeetoArt I guess what Skeets s trying to say is that this product saves on milk, but increases the waste on coffee. You can practice your latte art on normal milk and have a cup of coffee perfectly drinkable...although not latte art perfect! It's my opinion too that this product would be a good deal long as it would be safe for consumption. This thing apart, of course latte art takes practise...and is a nice hobby...and a necessary professional skill...but not to the expense of common sense regarding food waste and wise resource management. With all respect mate...maybe after some comments sections point it out then the company will design the next product to be drinkable...who knows?
@CoffeetoArt
@CoffeetoArt 2 года назад
@@DimitrisKanakis yeah maybe man ! I guess this is the next step for Bcb. Meanwhile, people going to latte art throwdown or wants to learn fast by practicing, I think this is a good product. After 11 years in the coffee industry I know exactly how much milk and coffee is wasted each day and I know this product is perfect to train new barista ! Thank you for the peaceful argument !

Latte art is just visual, use real ingredients and just be sure its drinkable "taste wise" and just make coffee for everyone at home. This way you got customers, feedback, and you can practice while also not wasting anything. It takes time to be consistent, but its better than wasting ingredients id say. Its a cool invention ngl, but it would also be best if its paired with a coffee texture and crema reproducer so that you basically waste no edible ingredients...

Hey Steve. We can do the math if you want. But milk is more expensive in canada. You can also use cheaper coffee beans or old beans.
