Thank you for this! I enjoy your covers immensely. It's so rare anymore (for me that is) to find like-minded musicians/people, who indeed love so many of the same artist(s) as I do. Your renditions truly make my soul smile. Specifically, when I listen to how you emote the nuances of every song you perform, and not just go through the motions with them? YOU ACTUALLY GET IT!? Once again, thank you for showing up and bringing some light to the world for myself, and so many others as well.
Been subscribed since your Twillight cover. I'm always happy when you upload: if I know the song, I know it will be an amazing cover; if I don't know the song, I know it will be an amazing cover as well, but I also get to find another amazing song/artist. Continue with the amazing uploads!
Really great version of this song! Beautiful singing too! You can tell you put a lot into this song, which is a very powerful call for help. I definitely think Aimee would approve.
Algorithm FTW! So many great things here. Your guitar tone is absolutely perfect. Sounds just like the record. Your vocal runs are super precise and delicate. The chord modifications you made are also very interesting and give the song a new layer of colouring. Very much enjoyed this. Thank you! ✌🏾🤟🏾
This sounded perfect and almost exactly like her, it's really good but I hope to hear your own take on it, you're unique and so talented, I want to see youuu haha, not to say I haven't already listened to this three times of course, it's amazing
Heh. I had that same poster you have on the back of your door when I was in college. I'm pretty sure it came with one of his albums. Yeah, you used to get posters with albums. Very nicely done, on the song, by the way. I am not familiar with it, but it sounds great.
Good lyrics, because its as if she knows love is for all! And that energy takes the joy from life and love! That explains how! So sounds like instead of needing to be saved she's inviting love!
Great! Not overly syrupy and it looks to me like what such a young woman sounds like, in the message of the song, is like a plea for needed help but for someone older, like Amy Mann, it's more like an expression of someone who is messed up beyond redemption, pleading for help anyway. But the song is good at keeping it bitter. I love the bitterness.
You look like A perfect fit For a girl in need Of a tourniquet But can you save me? Why don't you save me? If you could save me From the ranks of the freaks Who suspect They could never love anyone 'Cause I can tell You know what it's like A long farewell Of the hunger strike But can you save me? Come on and save me If you could save me From the ranks of the freaks That suspect They could never love anyone You struck me dumb Like radium Like Peter Pan Or Superman You have come to save me Why don't you save me? If you could save me From the ranks of the freaks Who suspect They could never love anyone Except the freaks Who suspect They could never love anyone But the freaks That suspect They could never love anyone Come on and save me Why don't you save me? If you could save me From the ranks of the freaks Who suspect They could never love anyone Except the freaks Who suspect They could never love anyone Except the freaks Who could never love anyone Thank you God bless you
One of the very overlooked albums of the 90s. It was great but just had the bad luck to come out in one of the most prolific music generations ever, and got lost in the noise to a large degree.
Technically it was a very polished performance but the guitar sounded kind of flat to me. What kind of recording equipment are you using? I would look into getting a better pickup/ interface for your guitar and cleaning up the track with software. An artist is only as good as his or her tools and you're at a level where your performance is being limited by your equipment. Thanks and keep up the good work.
