Hello, in this video I'm servicing a Citroen c2 that Ive just purchased I'm changing the oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs and the cabin filter its really straight forward to-do and defo will be able to save yourself a couple quid if you service your vehicle if you found it enjoyable and you learned something please like and subscribe thanks!

i’m thinking about getting a C2 for my first car, i’m making sure that it’s easy enough to service myself before i buy one cos i know a lot of cars are too complex to service yourself

Thanks mate and not 100% sure can’t quite remember you’ll need a spark plug tool it’s a lot easier

For 1.4i it is 16mm, connect to a socket wrench that bends. Very easy to do, did it today. You also need to check the spark plug torque. So you need a low torque spanner. About 22nm...

Sorry haven’t looked into the power steering on the c2 and no longer have the vehicle so I can’t check maybe try Googling see if anyone can help

Not sure different for every vehicle just google the vehicle and it will tell you

great video recently bought a c2 1.1 2007 after passing my driving test , but keeps cutting out losoes power when coming to a stop or low idle have you come across this issue or as anybody on here had the same problem!

Possibly be spark plugs when we’re they last changed but it could be several different things that causes low idle

The fuel filter is inside the gas tank and it was not causing any issues so I didnt want to mess with it!

Good video just one or two points. Sump plug washer should always be changed as its a crush washer and torqued down correctly. Same with the oil filter housing. Always torque it down. Same goes for the spark plugs, the washer on the plugs are also crush washers. So torquing them down is paramount. Always infest in a good quality torque wrench. I was a mechanic for 35 years and anyone just starting out, not bad..
