"Save the Last Dance for Me" is a song written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, first recorded in 1960 by American musical group the Drifters with Ben E. King on lead vocals. It has since been covered by several artists, including Dalida, the DeFranco Family, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, and Michael Bublé.
This was a request for Joe Majdalani - Thanks for the suggestion Joe ! Hope you like it.
Played on my Alan Brason Custom Stratocaster fitted with Kinman FV-HMS pickups on bridge position through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP patch 0-36.

The BT came from Roger Paulsson on his Vol 22 CD sites.google.c...
Sound recorded in Cubase SX6 and edited with the three 4K Video takes made with 3 Panasonic VX870 4K camcorders in Song Vegas Pro 14

Good Sat Morn Phil, a tune of the bygone days and still sounds great to listen to. You did an excellent job with the A B C Strat (esp. the tonal changes) and backed by a wonderful BT with intro on the bongos🪘. Thanks a lot Dave - Yes RP is fond of the key changes - it helps give the song a lift but makes the Tabs longer as you cant use repeats as they are in different fret positions.. Oh well still got them all on 1 page LOL. So glad you liked it.. All the best Phil
