The body can’t tell the difference between exogenous AA and endogenous from muscle breakdown. So when we get AA tested, how do we decipher what the source is?
I love this guy. Did the heavy metal test from him and found out my aluminum was WAY HIGH. Realized it was from my deodorant. Super scary how simple things like lotions and deodorant can soak into our body so easily like that. Definitely opened my eyes. Great podcast.
My wife’s been dealing with inflammatory issues for 15 years and she eats (seemingly) very well. Ordered the free test, let’s hope we can find a breakthrough here. Thanks.
In regards to the inflammatory fats contributing to type 2 diabetes, Dr. Chris Knobbe has been doing research on this and shows pretty strong correlation between seed oils and type 2 diabetes. Even more correlation than sugar and carbs.
I love when he's a guest on here. His delivery registers very well, in a way that I can even send this to my mom and she'll get the overall gist of it. Great coverage on the seafood / sardine products. I was hoping somebody was going to mention tuna (fresh or can) but they didn't. Where would that fall in the omega 6 category and risk of mercury / heavy metals ?
High consumption of canned tuna can lead to heavy metal accumulation. If you do canned tuna, stick to the smallest kinds of tuna such as skip jack tuna. I used to eat lots of canned tuna, then switched to skip jack and now eating sardines for my fish, or ill do baked mackerel
Yes. Yes!! I absolutely LOVE every conversation you guys have with Dr. Stephen Cabral. I always learn so much, and the discussions are so fascinating. Thank you!! Edit: I just got to the "brick of cheese" comment by Stephen and I just about burst out laughing 😂 love you guys🧀
The egg thing is kind've disturbing to hear ... from someone who has ate them everyday/with every meal..for decades, and never less than 4 or 5 at a time either. So am I gonna die tomorrow? or what
