Hey friend! Thanks so much for watching. Honestly, I don't think there's a difference. The craft glue is industrial strength if I'm not wrong. The links should be here: kit.co/evumies
Two questions tonight, my bad! Have you re-sewn soles back onto docs? It doesn’t seem too complicated but I can’t seem to find any good info. It’s a certain stitch I think, normally done by machine
No problem whatsoever. You're doing me a favor by asking! Haha. I've never re-sewn soles on any shoes. Unfortunately, I'm not a cobbler, but I do work with leather. A proper welt stitch isn't complicated, but it also isn't easy by hand. Most cobblers use a welt stitching machine to attach the outsole to the welt. Check out @TrentonHeath
I like Shoe Goo. Is that any good? I'd have no idea where to find that other stuff; can barely find ShoeGoo. Very nice videos: so clear and complete, and such a quiet, calm voice.
Hey friend! I've tried Shoe Goo before and it's decent. I recommend E6000 more, but you can use whatever you're comfortable with. I believe Walmart and Home Depot sells E6000. It's really affordable. Thank you so much for the comments. I really try hard to offer good content for you guys! If you could please share the video, I'd greatly appreciate it. At the moment, I'm at 803 subscribers and I'm trying to reach 1,000. Thanks for the help!
@@evumies Hi, nice person. I really appreciate your Helpful reply! I don't know anybody with whom I can share your video. I'm very isolated, and literally there is not one person I know (of the three or four I email with) with whom I could share it; noone I know who repairs their own shoes; etc. My closest friend lives in assisted living, only wears slippers and can't use the Internet. I'm really sorry. But if I Ever encounter a discussion about this, I'll mention you immediately. The name is a little difficult - evumies? Looks like "enemies"! Also if people knew people who were talking about this, they might not need to look it up. But I wish you Great luck. Probably almost everyone knows more people than I do, so hopefully you will reach your goal. Maybe some local tv station could get wind of your Amazing videos. Or a shoe repair shop; or a hardware store might sponsor you. Are there Emmy's for RU-vid? Maybe there should be. Your humble excellence is a blessing to the world.
