Pastor Peter Che has known poverty, despair and all the things that should have derailed him, had he not found Christ. He came to America 40 years ago and grew up on the streets and found himself involved in drugs, violence and hardship that led to him hitting rock bottom. He found the strength to clean up his act and started a successful business that he later sold hoping to find peace and happiness in his newfound success and prosperity. He moved to Hawaii for one year and despite being in literal paradise, he still felt empty. He came back to California, and that's when he heard a voice in his heart that told him Jesus was his Hope and Peace and in that instant, he opened his heart and received Jesus as his Savior.
