Great trip you 3 had. We can't wait to get out there. Looks amazing!!! We ordered our van last month, now we wait....til next year! Stay safe out there. We'll keep on watching! Margie & Janice 'woldsontheworld'
Oh my - Mother Nature said goodbye to you with an explosion of color; what a breathtaking sky! I’m sure she was saying please come back again and if life treats you kindly, you surely will. Thanks so much for sharing all of this wonder with us. For those of us who may not ever be able to take this trip, it’s been a blessing. Hope your long trip home was safe and you are enjoying your lovely lake house once again. Wishing you a happy Sunday - stay well and hugs for sweet little Maggie.
Owen, Lynn and Maggie, love your latest video of the end of the Out West Adventure. But please don’t let this be the last of the videos of your trips. Gosh Im sure there will be something that happens on the trip from Nevada to home. Like other trips I’ve followed you guys and love the talk, food, sights, tips, fun and happy dances along the way. Its brought back great memories of places I’ve been but also places I haven’t been (yet). So keep on trekking and filming and ill be along too thanks so much for your efforts in these videos.
Save the best for last was just so amazing colours of the rock formation that it was so beautiful and breathtaking experience that you had. I really enjoy this Valley Of Fire State Park with you have shown on your RU-vid . Thank you for making this wonderful video and taken the time to make it . As always BS & BK & BC
Oh my goodness, thanks so much for the shout out FROM ALASKA. Can’t wait to discuss it with you you absolutely must come here next summer! In a land where 6 hours is “close”, you’ll never worry about long drives again. Hoping to see you again soon. Much love, Jeff & Patti & Mrs McCormick cat who turns 21 next week. Big party?
Hey Owen and Lynn - we bought these decals to put on our van so we don’t get notes put on our window about leaving Milo in the van when it’s warm outside. VEHICLE REMOTELY MONITORED AND TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED
Great video! Thought of you guys as I've been in your neck of the woods - or should I say your neck of the ocean? - Corolla, OBX with family! Was reminded of your video driving on the sand. Loving your travels, Owen, Lynn, and Maggie!
Valley of Fire brought back so many memories. I raised my 5 boys in Overton and spent so much time there hiking, having family gatherings, scout night hikes and so much more. I miss places out west and hope to get back there again. For now, we live in Florida and enjoy going to GA, SC and NC to go crystal and rock hunting. Looking forward to being able to travel full time starting February 2024.
What a trip....you certainly made the most of it and now I wanna go back and revisit all that beautiful scenery. Isn’t it grand. Now I have time but am laid up with a issue with my tibia had me a little accident, and surgery this week, dang. A temporary setback, I will be good before fall. This trip was just awesome, the videos were awesome, and I really Laughed out loud when I heard Lynn say “isn’t that pretty.” I said exactly the same thing the first time we drove out “west” and my dear husband started to make fun of me after about the hundredth time I said it. So that brought back a good memory. Thanks for sharing and taking us along. Happy Tails Maggie ❤️🐕👍🇺🇸🚗🙋🏼♀️
Great video, as always. Maggie looked sad to be heading home. We think you should go to Alaska again. It would be interesting to see you contrast your all wheel drive experience with that of your Travato. We are still weekend warriors at this point, but we agree that the people you meet are one of the best parts of traveling. Thank you for sharing.
Lots of good scenery but I don’t think I will include Owen’s backsides among it. Lol. Thanks for the journey! You guys are the best. I can only imagine a trip with you all and Debbie and John. Wow! I started my comments early and you bring up a good point I think. How do you know when to return home instead of exploring more areas that are close by or make another trip out of those other areas. Hope that makes sense. Maybe an episode there. Really enjoy you all. Can’t wait until our journeys begin.
Great journeys, thanks for sharing the wonders with us. And now, I guess you’re safe at home. There’s way more to see and you’ve just scratched the surface. Now, migrate north with the geese along the spine of the Rockies all the way to Glacier NP.
Thanks for sharing videos of your trip out west. They were so enjoyable and awesome. I can understand Lynn getting emotional. The end of things can sometimes stir up a very complex mix of emotions. I so enjoy watching the three of you and the happiness your adventures bring you. I personally would love to travel but my wife is just not interested. Thanks again!
Such an interesting discussion! Should we go to Yellowstone? And we’re so close to Alaska. Nah let’s go home 🏠. So many options when wandering out west in a van.
Owen, Lynn, and Maggie what an end to your travels to the west. Glad your last stop was Valley of Fire. I loved Valley of Fire. It’s a great place to visit. Glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed traveling with you. It was a great adventure. Maggie loved too I can tell. And she was saddened to that you were leaving. The look on her face at the end of the video said it all. Have great week and safe travels.
Beautiful colours of the rock against the blue sky. What an amazing place. I’ll likely never visit this place so it’s nice to see it through your eyes.
Awww Lynn I totally get you! So sweet that you have these memories to watch whenever you want and are willing to take the time to capture them to share with all of us. I love watching your videos. It's like having friends over for a bit and I don't have to clean the house, put out food or get myself together for that matter;)
What spectacular scenery! I used to not realize when seeing petroglyphs, but the land was higher when they were created. One park we went to had a sign that the trail we were on was 30 feet below the surface that had been there when the rock art above our heads was made.
That was a great trip guys! We're very envious of you, thanks for taking us along on the journey. You're making my wife want to speed up her retirement date 🤣🤘
We have really enjoyed your videos. We started our RU-vid watching viewing From She To Me. We relate to them being maybe a couple of years older (along with me being 6’5”)and incredible as it may seem, more active. We are avid Tennis and Pickleball players when not traveling and enjoy our mountain bikes more than our electric ones. We learned of your channel and liked it because you were in a van and have been many of the same places we have gone. We are on our third RV and have traveled around Alaska, across Canada, and across the United States multiple times. I am curious how you like your current RV compared to your last one. I know it is more off road capable but doesn’t look to be nearly as comfortable. Are the trade off worth it? We started with a Winnebago Trend which is on a Dodge Promaster Chasis. While we put 32,000 miles on it in two years I found it really underpowered. We next tried a Lance trailer, this didn’t last a year as we rarely stay in one place more than one or two nights and setting up a trailer takes so much time. We currently have a 2022 Pleasureway Ontour 2.2. It is the only class B that will fit me. I am 6’5” and being built on the Ford Transit Chasis has a 6’6” ceiling, 79” long bed that is north/south so my wife doesn’t have to climb over me, and a large bathroom. One of our favorite things is the large compressor refrigerator so that we don’t have to worry about being level. Two downside issues, pipes are underneath rig so we worry about freezing. When it gets to 28 degrees I start worrying. Second, while is nice to have the new quiet, fuel injected generator to back up our solar, it sits low that makes off reading difficult on any type of uneven road. After this last trip a video of you comparing your two vans would be interesting. (We too love Valley of Fire). We live in the San Diego area bike to the Carlsbad State Beach campground you were at often.
We are really glad you have found us through Deb and John. Interesting that you brought up the question of comparing. In just a few minutes I’m going to release our next video and it will be a surprise for many. We’ll get into the reasons for it in a video about “Why” in the coming week. Glad you love your Pleasure Way… nothing not to love… but as with everything there are always compromises. Generator is great to have but it’s low hanging equipment. Plenty of tank capacity and water on the road but it can freeze. We totally agree with your style of traveling and for that reason it would be really hard for us to ever land on another towable RV. Thanks for being with us.
Thanks for the video! We were in VOF in May..so much wind we could not get out our van, very hot , the dust storm we were in we had to keep the windows closed…we did get a campsite…because no one was there…ya take your chances!… VOF is an amazing place!
Wow! What an amazing trip! Thanks for the pictures, your wonderful narrative and impressions along the way. As always, it was a job well done and I had a tear in my eye when you came to the end of the trip. But not to worry - I know more adventures await! BYE BYE from NW Florida! 👋👋👋
You really caught some vibrant colors in the Valley of Fire....we missed it several times when out West. You make us want to go!! Thanks for a great vlog, as usual.
Wow! So beautiful! The colors and textures of the rock were so amazing! Thanks so much for bringing us along. So much love to all 3 of you! From your friend in SC Jane The Prong Horn were incredible! So wonderful to see friends along the way. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻
Thank you for another gorgeous vlog and wow those desert colors! Could really feel your emotion on ending your journey. Thank you for showcasing so much of what this So Westerner loves and is grateful for.
Valley of Fire is gorgeous! We were there in May and it was so hot. Found the heat and that soft sand on the trails too difficult. Enjoyed driving around and a picnic lunch there.
Great job guy's! Have a great trip back. We have been in that area 9 years ago. Your videos have given us the urge to get back out West. Thanks for sharing.
Loved your ending to a fantastic trip! We have a son graduating next May and then we plan on getting out on the road more. You guys are a inspiration to so many that can’t travel or are in a holding pattern of life until they can pull the trigger.
That was so good. You almost had us crying in the end. We too have hated leaving the west, but home is always calling. I could pack right now and head west. It was great keeping up with you and Owen. We have laughed, cried, and followed your every adventure. We wish we could have been there in person. Thank you both for your friendship! Hopefully we will see you guys soon. David and Juanita
