To keep Red Dead Online's servers working, Rockstar needs to spend a decent amount of money, and the servers are always active, so Rockstar probably won't shut down RDO, unless they stop profiting from RDO Gold purchases, and instead of shutting it down, they would probably let the game die by not giving it content worth to spend time with, *then* they would shut servers down and economize money when they see no active players on servers. #SaveRedDeadOnline #EnoughOfGTA

RDO's servers appear to be peer to peer servers. They are dependent on the players, not host servers.

Surely Rockstar know that in order to make money, you have to spend money. However, in RDO they totally ignore that fact! Come on Rockstar it's time to #SaveRedDeadOnline
