I have one of these things- it will NEVER restart after the engine gets hot and starts to cool off. It's been that way from the day it was brand new. When the engine is cold it starts well enough and it will run out a full tank. But when you shut it off, you're pretty much done for the day.

Those carburetors are adjustable they take a small d size carburetor adjustment driver and it is directly in the middle of the barrel of the carburetor that little bitty brass ring with the brass thing in the middle is this small d

I have the same blower and it won’t rev up when self horizontal. If you point it at the sky it will run great.

Mine starts but then shut off with in seconds. Cleaned the carburetor resolved fuel line and filter won’t resolve the problem

Sometimes on top were the throttle cable is ther a grommet under that may be a tiny screw that low speed aduster.

Used mine for a grand total of 30 min and it won’t run, it’s now been sitting for over a year and I’m ready to just junk it.

I have one of these. Won't start. Won't even try to run. Kicks back awfully. Good spark, fresh mix gas. Lines replaced. Carb opened & clean in side .. no crud. Nothing helps. Kicks back hard. Can these go out of time? Is there a keyway on the crankshaft? I know it seems unlikely but what else can it be? TIA.

Ever figure out your issue? I got a similar issue, I got spark, air and fuel but it's never turning over at all. I seem to be getting good pressure from the engine and the ignition coil is lighting up my tester. Replaced everything, spark plug, fuel lines, fuel filter, carburetor, new fuel. I'm at a loss on what it could be.

Nope! I've worked on and fixed a lot of engines but this one is a real puzzle! Can the timing some how have slipped? Mine won't even show evidence trying to fire.

Thanks for this video, it's pretty much the only one that goes into details on this beast of a blower. All the other videos are reviews or "look at me use my leaf blower". I bought mine brand new i think it was when they first released this design. It worked great for years , always starting up and running great no matter the day, time, season whatever. i noticed it start acting up last year and i would have to feather the choke to keep it running. Sometimes i would have to leave the choke halfway closed in order to keep it running. Then one day it would not start :( it has spark and is getting fuel and the compression feels same as always. i ordered the carb kit you listed above and installed it but i am still unable to get it running. any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

He should have tried restarting it- after the engine gets hot, then is shut down and starts to cool. Mine is impossible to restart .If you don't restart it within 30 sec of shutting it down, you aren't going to get it started again anytime soon.😅 It has to cool off for hours.

The plastic insides easily go out of balance and destroy the fins. Rendered useless usually after a few uses. Jetfan Tech

My dad got one of these and used it like 10 times before it shut down. Ive tried cleaning it but no luck. Gonna have to take gokd look at it tomorrow afternoon and see if I can start it one more time. The blower is nice tho. It's powerful.
