OK WOW - Westly rode in like he was in an old west movie. Gets off, grabs the calf, with side-arm and chaps (used appropriately). One cool COW POKE that Westley! 👍
Meredith, I want to thank you for what you’ve accomplished for FEMA and Red Cross. I am from Plant City, Florida. Milton wiped out my mobile home complex with 4.5 feet of water. Now I’m on the other end. Being able to accept the things from these two places. It’s truly an experience to have gone through. But anyway thanks again for what you and others are doing for people like me
You are doing so much for those in NC that have lost do much, may God bless you for all that you do. I received the shirts, so soft and fit so well, thank you so much for your undying devotion to help those that need it.🙏🙏
I have mentioned before about the windiw pane....the chaulking holding the panes in lace is old and dried out. Just go to hardware store, get that tub of window putty and then clean out all old putty around each pane,,,,then replace with new. May need to replace some old pins holding pabes in place, yet all is easy to do.If I was there, would do it for you. Best to check all windows that are over 25= years old.
I just wonder meredith, if that calf is a twin. Occasionally we will have a cow between here and they seem to take the second calf most of the time and forget about the first one unless they are in a box stall where they have them right there with them together
Meredith, you are such a giver and never a taker! You always help people and you donate to your church and when you took all the time to bring a trailer full of supplies for the unfortunate people that lost everything. There's a special place in heaven for people like you ✨️
Looks like Little House scene. Your efforts of charity and volunteerism helping the poor victims of western NC will not go without recognition. You all are heroic bringing things of immediate needs to the wonderful folks. Nacho cheese dip, I make it often with a large bag of corn chips and beer, can't go wrong. Good timing with the banjo Austin the broken winder. Poor Rocket, about makes a guy cry when the pets suffer, weve had a few over the decades. Wesley doing great young man.
Thanks for sharing the video Meredith. Good to see all that you are doing for the people in Western North Carolina. Hope y'all's corn turns out okay when you shell it. Wesley and Ben work well together and I am glad he found the calf and they got him to the barn. Take care.
❤🎉 Cool video Mere -- Ben is an awesome horse!! Every time I hear Wes speak I'm like "who's that new man on the farm??!!?!" 🤣🤣 Thanks for your continued help for the victims and thanks for sharing your life. ❤️🙂🪻🇺🇲🙏🐂🐎
Hats off to y'all once again ! Thanknyou dear Merdi for helping Floeida in their time of need ...you are an angel honey ! ❤ u for who you are ! Your heart is enormous ! And Miss Austin once again you are a marvel ! Not only have you self taught yourself guitar but now banjo as well ! Yay you girly girl ! So impressed with your accomplishments ! Wesley you are so exceptional to young men these days ! Youre a farmer...mechanic...musician...and a cowboy ....rescuing calves and carrying little Ben home back on gentle Ben. A very appropriate name for that really cute baby ! I love his sweet little face ... I am so grateful to have your wonderful family to love and follow ! My heart aches for Rockets little foot...im so sorry for him. ❤ you all for who you each are...Lawrence of course too . A magnificent christian family ! God bless y'all !
Yes, you can replace that broken windowpane. I'm sure Lawrence knows how and it will be a good opportunity for him to teach Wesley and Austen. It's not really all that hard as long as the wood frame is still sound. Wes could have passed for any cowboy movie star carrying that calf home over his saddle. Clint Eastwood/Rowdy Yates, in "Rawhide" comes to mind.
Meredith, I’m in south MS and our small community and churches filled up my 30’ gooseneck trailer with supplies. I hauled it to Spruce Pine, NC last Thursday & Friday. That area was hit hard as I’m sure you know. I was amazed (although I shouldn’t have been) with people helping people, Americans helping Americans, and God’s glory shining everywhere even in the most painful situations. They’re in for a long period of recovery. I have two great contacts in Spruce Pine who will be keeping me informed as to future needs as time goes on.
How cool is, Ben, and that wagon! Not as cool as you, for your honest emotions and caring for the flood victims, by what you are doing for them. Sorry about Rocket. In my 74 years of wisdom , I can tell you this; expect the unexpected throughout all of your life. Rocket was just doing what Rocket does. It was an accident. Good ranchin' , Wes, finding that calf and bringing it back to the nursery. I know that must be extra work hand rearing, but so rewarding to dedicate yourselves to your craft....RANCHING. And you videoed it, and mom catching you coming in, is so poetic, and heroic. You just inspired a lot of young people to be just like you. Thank You! Excellent job, Westley! And of course, Meredith!
Happy belated birthday Mer! Ben is the cutest calf! And Big Ben is the best boy! And Wesley is such a nice young man. Thanks for always sharing your life with us 😊 love from south TX
Thank you Meredith for being the kind of person that you are that's why I watch your show for so many years now I remember the first time I turned your show on turn it on because you are a pretty little blonde girl that that worked on a farm oh my God you've turned into the greatest woman on Earth you have a heart of gold had an awesome family😊
When we would get together on Christmas Eve with all the family (grannie, grandad, aunts, uncles, and all the cousins), my aunt would bring that cheese dip. If I remember correctly, she would also add Cheese Whiz. It was sooo good. Memories.
Good morning Meredith yes you can fix that glass pane all you do is go to your lumber yard and get one to fit they are a standard size then just put some silicone around it and you can change it out quite easily I'm surprised you don't have thermal pane windows there because you do get cold the Old World War II on Kodiak Island had those windows in it too
I just had a thought! Wesley needs to go to a festival nearby and charge people to ride the wagon and use it for donation to the flood victims. Just an idea
God bless you and your family in my humble opinion I think the dog will be alright dogs will be dogs sometimes the get stupid God bless you and your family from across the pond in England
Maybe You should take Ben to the Horse Show With Y'all Looks Like While All the others are practicing And Competing Ben Said Watch This Y'all I'm a Natural Ranch Horse Glad To See Ben Gets His workouts too Thanks For Sharing This With Us Blessings And Please Be Safe ✌️
You need either a horseshoe set up or washer game setup. A couple of tuna cans and some 3/4" flat washers for yard games. Great fun. Texas style fun for everyone!! 😁😉
Hi Meredith! I love it that your kids seem to love their ranch life. They both are so engaged with the animals! Maybe fixing machinery isn't so great but I bet the rest of the ranch life makes up for it.❤
Omgoodness that bull calf is adorable. Need to let y’all know received my T’s Saturday, and omgoodness talk about comfy wowzers super soft, the last 2 shirt I got to support a certain president where really tight and made more for a man showing off his muscles, your who ever you get yours from are amazing, soft, roomy, and all around awesomeness. Thank you for the gifts would pay more for this quality of them. Tfs your beautiful family, and prayers for the orphan calf. ❤😊
I make the same exact dip and it's very filling. I use ground beef and mild sausage. Then I add a jar of mild salsa. If you like hot stuff, you can use hot spicy sausage and hot salsa. I can't do hot! LOL!!!
Hi Meredith!! Another RU-vidr I follow is Becky from The Hillbilly Kitchen. She has been the same thing you are for the people affected by the flooding. She has been up there a few times also taking supplies. One thing she has done is (please check with her if you’re interested in case I’ve gotten any thing wrong) they found a used camper and used donated money to purchase it for someone in North Carolina I believe. Just wanted to mention this. 💜
It's nice that you are doing it. It has been twelve weeks no rain here at all. We were hoping to get some rain when the hurricane had gone threw over by yous that is because I have been putting in 18 and 20 hour days. People have been telling me I need to stop. I can't to much to get done. Every day there is some fire around in the area that has burned a corn field or a bean field. Just finished harvesting my corn today. Tomorrow morning Breanna heads off to national ffa convention. She is going to be on R F D TV getting some award for there chapter. I wish you well. Please send some rain are way. It has been taking alot of hay feeding the horses because there is no grass left. Take care.❤
Good evening Merdie and Family Got my t-shirt today ❤ Wow I had a oak tree come down at the back of my house and was 1 inch away from hitting the house plus another tree just missed my shop 😮 Thanks Lord for always looking over me ❤ lots of tree debris and my pool fence all tore down but overall all is good 🤠 Nice save Wesley on the baby calf ❤ Ahh I love it Austin picken on the banjo 🪕 Y’all take care Always 🤠❤️😘Love Y’all
I thought I would let you no that Breanna is going across the stage Thursday 1:45 to 5:00 pm. I don't have no way of recording her get the award. It is going tobe on R F D TV. Thanks have a great day.
Meredith, bless you for what you are doing. I know a place in N.C. where there are hundreds of FEMA campers are parked in storage. They could be used in western nc. Find out why they are not being used! 🙏🐄
That dish we call Ferry Hash here its served over rice. It was a favorite during WWII at the Ferry Diner here. It kept the Hudson River Ferry crews and railroad crews fed.
When life becomes a constant search for solutions it's hard to imagine the end of hardship. Rita got my place 2005 I think one month after Katrina. It is life changing, things lost never to recover.
Meredith, Ben is one gorgeous, and intelligent horse. So now that you have a bottle baby, AKA Baby Ben how many times will you need to feed him. Every 2 hours?
I do that but I put the corn chip on the plates and put the cheese and ground beef on the chips and add ranch style beans and put lettuce and tomatoes and sour cream and 🥑 and call it super nachos
YES YOU CAN FIX THE WINDOW .... ITS JUST A PAIN IN THE BUTT BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO TAKE TIE WOOD INSERTS OUT WITH OUT BREAKING THEM ....... AND PUT IN A NEW GLASS THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE CUT AND THEN PUT EVERYTHING BACK IN .... OR YOU CAN GO THE CHEAP ROUT AND CUT A PIECE OF PLY WOOD TO GO IN THE HOLE OVER THE BROKE GLASS ..... THE CHOISE IS YOURS !!!!
