I also always forget about interests. That is, until I try to join a GP’s war for something I’ve been striving for the entire game, only to realize I can’t bc the interest will take too long to activate 😭
I recommend that you exile the landowner leader, a lot of times you can get a jingoist landowner general and get professional army early. As well, you start with a moderate landowner so you can invite him back afterwards and sometimes he is a abolitionist with helps with serfdom and slavery and sometimes he can be a democrat/republican and he can help with getting appointed beuracrats.
Yeah I agree that I definitely should've done that. Every time I had that option in mind the approval was ~-8 or -9 so I didn't want to further agitate them. Completely agree though :D
@@DerailHOI Try to roll for Intelligentsia generals and promote them to the highest possible rank to maximize their clout, if you have Voice of the People DLC you should then use the corn laws journal to get a market liberal landowner leader, boom. End serfdom, destroy the landowners clout and have an intelligentsia-run autocracy. Do NOT pass landed voting by the way, it literally only strengthens the landowners
What I usually do at the start of the game as Ottomans is to exile the moderate leader of the Local Governors and hope for him to become an abolitionist and invite him back to get rid of mainly serfdom and then slavery. Slavery is a second priority since in one of the latest patches they took away the landowner political power from slavery, so even if he dies before you manage to rid of slavery their strength will still drop significantly.
18:10 bonus income transfer from subjects is one of the worst modifers in the game since your subjects no longer get the money upgrading vassalization is worth it eventually but for your first pinciple its not worth going past lvl 1 till you are.completly maxed on the other 3
I've tried to get the healthy man of europe three times now. God is 1.7 brutal. France, Britian, and Austria always end up snowballing and attack me out of nowhere and take half of my subject by year 1900, or they'd have crazy amount of prestiege like 7K or 10K while I'm stuck at 4K. It's ridiculous.
@@DerailHOIMay I ask about forming Italy? Since most of Italy is under the Austrian block it seems difficult to form it has one of the small Italian nation.
